das Riviera ist eines der beste Lokale in Winnenden und wird von einer Frau geführt.Die Speisekarte hat ein ausgewogenes Sortiment,Qualität und Preis stimmen.Montag und Mittwoch sind Pizzatage,dazu gibt es auch Tagesessen für 5,99 ⬠pro Person.Auch einen Lieferservice bietet das Haus an,dazu noch Catering.

Was staying close by and decided to have a change from the hotel food so walked down the hill to Pizzeria Lowen.Comfortable restaurant which is bigger than it looks from the front.Food wise I went for a mixed Italian platter which was huge and probably enough for a family of 4, was excellent though.The Pizza I went for was Italian Ham, salami and Mushrooms and was without doubt one of the best pizza that I have ever had outside of Italy.Was pretty full afterwards so got the bus back up the hill! A very nice evening with excellent service.

Wir waren wieder dort. Super Küche. Die Inhaber kochen selber. Wieder ein Gedicht. Diesmal keine Pizza, sondern von der separaten Karte: Ravioli, gefüllt mit schwarzem Trüffel, in einer Trüffel - Sahne - Sosse. Es war unbeschreiblich. Mir läuft beim Gedanken daran schon wieder das Wasser im Mund zusammen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir gingen am Nachmittag zum Essen in dieses Lokal. Das Restaurant war fast leer, so dass wir wir auf den Salat und dir 3 Pizzen nicht allzulange warten mussten. Die Bedienung durch den Kellner war in Ordnung. Die Pizza Quattro Stagioni war gut, auch die anderen waren mit ihren Pizzen zufrieden. Lediglich das Bezahlen dauerte etwas - die Kellnerin beherrschte die Kunst des übersehens so gut, dass ich aufstehen und zur Theke gehen musste, um zu bezahlen. Das empfinde ich als ärgerlich und schlechten Service, zumal das Lokal nach wie vor fast leer war. Insgesamt gutes Essen aber verbesserungsfähiger Umgang mit den Gästen.

Winnenden is a small town with around 20,000 inhabitants, so expecting gourmet tempels there is simply too much to ask. Nevertheless one can find pretty decent restaurants there and Da Felice is one of them. It is a family run business and all staff on duty the night I was there spoke Italian. The food selection is typical Italian with anitpasta, pasta, pizza and some meat/fish dishes. We had the antipasta plater to start. It contained perfectly ripe cantaloupe melon with prosciuto, some slices of cured sausages, hard cheese and grilled vegetables. I had the only fish main dish (grilled Dorade with three grilled vegetables in the side) which was okay but not great either. The fish certainly came out of the freezer as the texture of the fish was a bit too mushy as compared to the fresh variety. My friends both had pasta dishes (Penne Catanese and Spaghetti Carbonara). Contrary to previous reviews the portions were very large but nevertheless finished down to the last morsle so were obviously well liked. The have some decent wines by the glass and the glass of Pino Grigio I had was crisp and fruity. Service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself is located in the middle of an industrial estate, so the flair is a bit lacking but the inside was appealing and comfortable. Its located a few minutes walk from the main hotel in town and probably about 15 minutes walk from the city center. A defent choice for sure if you are in the mood for Italian.

We took spaghetti with sea food, excellent, sole and calamari as main course, well cooked, service was excellent as well as wine, Lugana suggested by the waiter.Price is fair and adequate to the restaurant atmosphere and level
