We had an unexpected great evening at the Eckstein Restaurant-Bar. Besides the nice food and drinks, it was the atmosphere that created a perfect evening. We meet new friends, enjoyed the great bartender and loved the way people interact all together.We will come back for sure!A Dutch lady and her boyfriend from Switserland

Gleich vorweg: Das Essen ist gut. Egal ob Pasta, Pizza, Fleisch oder Fisch - es schmeckt alles und ist frisch.Aber was gar nicht geht ist der Service. Bei unserem letzen Besuch wurde unser Geschäftspartner - ein 19 Jahre altes, aufstrebendes Genie - nach einer Nachfrage von der Servicedame (wahrscheinlich die Chefin?) mit "Bubele" (= Schwäbisch für Kleiner Junge / Bübchen) angesprochen. Abend im Eimer. Schade für Da Luigi.

Waren mit Freunden und Kindern nach einem Tripsdrillbesuch dort. DrauÃen bekamen wir einen Platz.Die Karte ist umfangreich und für jeden etwas dabei. Die Preise sind m.E vergleichsweise moderat.Der Service war in Ordnung und kinderfreundlich.Das Essen war gut. Ich hatte Jägerschnitzel mit Kroketten. Ich kann nichts negatives sagen. Auch bei den anderen gab es keine Beanstandungen. Preis Leistung stimmt. Und bei einem Rostbraten für 16/17⬠kann man nicht meckern und darf kein Sternerostbraten erwarten (wie bei andere Rezensionen kritisiert).Insgesamt gut und wir würden bzw. werden wieder kommen

Already in the last years Pfeffer could convince with their concept of temporarily occupying a former men shop at the Marktplatz. The shop was waiting to be reconstructed, Pfeffer was waiting to move into their current location, a fantastic building, made of local sand stone at the end of Kirchbrunnenstrasse, by the river Neckar. Like at the Marktplatz, Pfeffer serves a reasonably priced set lunch, you choose if you want all three courses or skip starter or dessert. Pfeffer has a small but special selection of open wines, as well as non-alcoholic specialities.Apart from lunch, you might just want to stop by to get some fennel salami, delicious cheese, or maybe a tin of Parisian tea as a gift for an invitation.If you are in town for shopping, have a break and take lunch at Pfeffer's; I also use it as a meeting point with my wife, when we are in town and shopping at different places. She's never been too late, as there was always another glass of wine :-)

Hervorragende Vorspeiseplatte! Alle Hauptspeisen angefangen von Fisch, Garnelen und Gemüse mit Käse waren sehr gut zubereitet. Auf der AuÃenterrasse ist es sehr gemütlich. Der Service ist top! Kuchengruà und den Ozo aufs Haus schlieÃen einen perfekten Abend mit Freunden ab.
