The ticket to the Dornier Museum promises you "a splendid view" over the airfield from this restaurant. Unfortunately most of the windows are opaque and the view is very restricted - what a pitty!Except for one or two specialities the food is pretty "Cafeteria" (of the museum-kind; i.e. convenience food). Service on this day was not very attentive. One had to draw attention for everything. The food got served without cutlerly - we had to help ourserves from the table next to us.

My favourite place for lunch. They do an excellent set menu lunch for about 10 Euro. This place is 5star in appearance. The menu in the evening is very good and very reasonable for the price you pay. You would be hard pressed to find anywhere in the UK that served food to this standard in perfect surroundings at the prices they charge.Typical German everything just so down to the tiniest detail. They don't rob you for the drinks like uk restaurants. 3 euros for a beer 5 to 6 euro for a 250 mil glass of wine.If you like beer try the crystal Weizen bier with a slice of lemon. Light crisp and dry ideal on a hot summer day. This is also a highly recommended hotel

... on Good Friday there were five of us in the Meersalz. The service was charming and courteous. We ordered two 6-course menus and one 5-course menu, otherwise three courses a la carte each. Wine recommendation was excellent, both the white wine (Veltliner) and the Margaux Favarel. So there is absolutely nothing to complain about. If it had not been for a small thing... When paying the bill, at least 430⬠with tip, I could not resist to ask for the "free farewell drink" of the house. That was taken up by our charming service employee and immediately communicated to the management. She was sent back with the statement, "something like this is not taken into account by us", which was obviously a shame for her. Actually really a pity, because it would have been a small gesture for three, two had to drive anyway and hadn't drunk anything the whole time, so also no real effort. The team in service and kitchen did a huge job, thanks for a nice experience. Management, just think about it ;-) That is only a four star rating.

Die Schweinebäckchen sind wirklich sehr lecker, danke an die Bewerter vor uns. Das Essen kam sehr schnell, bzgl der Beilagen war man flexibel, die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles perfekt

Beim Schlade ist man immer Willkommen und die Angestellten vermitteln dem Gast dies immer wieder aufs Neue. Das Essen ist eine gutbürgerlich/schwäbische Küche die schmeckt.Alles was wir bisher probiert haben, ist auf den Punkt und schmeckt. Ohne Chichi. Einfache und ehrliche Küche mit guten Most und den besten Apfelküchle die man im Umkreis bekommen kann.Ideale Location für Feiern aller Art. Sehr schöne renovierte Wirtschaft mit heimeliger Wohlfühlatmosphäre
