We went here with friends, and were mostly very pleased with it, the food was good, with a fairly large buffet for salads and starters ( which pleased the vegetarian in our group). The servers were friendly, but they need to work on their organization a bit. Our table was passed by multiple times ( and generally when just the cut of meat that I really like was on the skewer). This did annoy me somewhat.That by side, I expect that I will likely return here.Dear starfighter441,Thanks for writing us. We are sorry, that you aren't completely happy with your visit. Convenient location for a restaurant since it's located near the entry (from the perspective of where our hotel was) of the town center. There is outdoor seating as well as indoor accommodations though the indoor seating doesn't have very good airflow and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone dining in the warmer months. The meal was expensive as the cuts of meat don't come with any side items (those are an addition 4euro on average), but it was delightfully seasoned and cooked very well. If you're looking for somewhere to have a nice meal in Baden-Baden and intend to spend a little more money, this would be a nice place to go.

Friendly staff , not all of which speak English, this is not a criticism but an observation. I was in Germany and expected everything to be in German so it was a bonus when the gent who seemed to be the owner / manager spoke English. He ably translated items on the menu and amended one of the dishes for me. So a pleasant evening was had by all

We decided to sample the delights of this well known restaurant. The five of us had a great night. Started in the heavily wood panelled bar area for a heart starter and then adjourned to dine. Service was OK (typical German!); the food was better.Recommended place to go for a more up-market dining experience.Dear RogTrish,thank you for your positive recommandation. Excellent local fare. A must meal to have. Reserve and go as it is a small restaurant and they need to know how many guests they might need to cater to.
