Find out what Spanish restaurants to try in Karlsruhe. In 1715, margrave Karl III Wilhelm decided he needed more space than he had in Durlach, so he moved his capital to Karlsruhe and had it designed in circular spokes around his new palace. Because of its unique radial shape, Karlsruhe is sometimes called the “fan city.” Home to Germany’s most important federal courts, the city accordingly teems with civil servants. Karlsruhe Schloss (castle) was badly damaged in World War II, but was rebuilt and is now home to the Badisches Landesmuseum.

I invited a relative (who has lived in Karlsruhe about 40 years) to eat here. He had no idea what tapas were but was willing to try. Now he keeps talking about bringing his wife here ;-)The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice (although it can get loud if a large group is sitting right next to you) and service is extremely attentive and helpful. The food is very yummy with effort put into achieving that typical Spanish taste explosion (it doesn't beat actually eating in Spain, but full marks for trying). When it came to paying the bill, I was pleasantly surprised. Very good food & drink for a very decent price.I can't wait to be back in Karlsruhe to come here again ;-)

This a nice mixed cuisine restaurant in a quiet part of town. It has a medium sized interior with few outside tables. The food includes Asian, Greek, Italian and German so much choice of cuisine though menu is small. We had a Greek salad which was good with large feta chunks. The white fish of the day was nicely grilled. The turkey fillets was a large dish with lots of salads and easy too share.A good comfort place. Enjoyed it. Attentive service too.

Small Chilean restaurant at Lidellplatz in Karlsruhe. There is no menu - the server tells you what the tasting menu of the day is. The day we went this was a nice, fresh tossed salad with avocado, salmon and a dessert. I definitely recommend having a Pisco sour.Friendly staff, cute interior, unfortunately no outdoor seating.

We went twice with our kids for this restaurant as they love that place so much. The interior is very nice and almost stylish in the setup although it perfectly fits to the spanish topic of the Restaurant. This time we ordered again a total of 12 different kinds of Tapas and all of them tasted delicious and were perfectly served, nice, hot and with a very friendly service. The kids got some nice drinks and we had quite nice open vine - I think aro 5 - 6â¬/glass. With the tapas we got some bread which we didn't really need. The dessert was, according to our kids, delicious (nothing left for us to try) and so we left and will be back. Only downside, if you will, is that we have to travel 65km to get there and parking occasionally is difficult.reservation recommended, especially on weekends!
