I very seldom rate a 5 star for anything, but this place deserves a full 5. This was the best meal i've had in my travels to Germany. The pumpkin soup, the salad, beer, the meal and the dessert were all AMAZING! Plus they had an English menu which helped my being from USA. I cannot wait to come back next time im in Offenburg for work!Thanks for an amazing meal!

Gasthaus Zum Turm is a good option for those wanting a typical German Gasthaus experience. Popular with locals as well as tourists from what we observed. Service was prompt and attentive. Nice beer selection. Meals were very good although the pork knuckle was sadly a little bit of a letdown. I usually enjoy this dish but the skin was soft and not crisped as I am used to having. Overall decent value and recommended.

Obwohl wir keine Reservierung hatten und auch schon um 18:00 Uhr mit 4 Personen ankamen...und alle Tische vorreserviert waren, tat der Wirt alles erdenklich mögliche um uns noch einen Tisch zu geben. Dieser Inhaber hat es verstanden, eine Oase der Gemütlichkeit und durch seine sehr freundliche Art die Menschen, seine Kundschaft zu begeistern. Leider wird es im Laufe der Zeit sehr laut, so das eine Unterhaltung manchmal sehr schwer wird. Das Essen frisch zubereitet und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis o.k.
