We had some really good pasta for lunch here. Both dishes were fresh and delicious, the staff was friendly and the pricing not cheap but not too expensive either. Unfortunately the waiting time for the food was really long and there's plain bread, without butter or oil and balsamico served before the food.

Jaberâs Garten (garden) is a small and cozy restaurant that serves well-prepared meals. Absolutely to be recommended.I spent a summer evening in Jaberâs Garten eating pikeperch in Prosecco sauce with rosemary potatoes and salad (Zanderfilet in Proseccosauce mit Rosmarinkartoffeln und Salat) â a delicious and light meal. âLightâ is important for me as a lady (âlightâ is not always easy to find in Germany). My friend tried the frozen yoghourt as a dessert, also excellent. The list of dishes on the menu looks enticing. As I understood, Jaber works behind the impressive bar, always spreading a smile and keeping the overview. The restaurant and the garden provide a magnificent view of the river Neckar and the castles around Neckarsteinach. You may have to reserve to get one of the tables with the view. The restaurant is located in the very center of Neckarstainach. Parking your car may be a small challenge; I found the last parking lot near Jaberâs garden. Not far away, you can park your car in the parking area âNeckaruferâ. When visiting Heidelberg, driving along the river Neckar upwards for 20 minutes to reach Neckarsteinach and Jaberâs Garten will be a relaxing and rewarding change from the tourist crowds, and you will experience the Odenwald forests growing on sandstone. I will surely visit Jaberâs garden again, when returning to my birthplace Heidelberg the next time.

Business function, event or just good dining? Visit our best rated Restaurant, Bar, Bistro, our cosy Lounge or the outstanding Roof-Terrace in the Centre of Heidelberg. The Qube Restaurant stands for imaginative, regional as well as international cuisine,
The Qube restaurant has pretentions to be a serious restaurant but, alas, fails to deliver. The décor is contemporary and pleasant and the food is perfectly decent, but the evening service staff is not only incompetent but downright rude. I can tolerate disorganized service if the servers are pleasant, but there is no excuse for inefficiency coupled with arrogance. I was staying at the Qube Hotel with colleagues and we saw that the restaurant was half empty so it seemed easiest to dine there instead of trying to find another place in the neighborhood. When it took forever to get menus, then to have our order taken, then simply to be served wine which was sitting on the bar behind us, we offered to leave if we were not welcome. One of the servers berated us for expecting to be served promptly when we did not have a reservation! Several nights later, at a dinner there for over 40 people (for a conference), another server told someone allergic to arugula that she could "just scrape it off" her starter. We complained and received an apology in that instance, but this is type of behavior is simply unprofessional and unacceptable. I'm sure there are better and certainly more enjoyable restaurants in Heidelberg - Das Bootshaus down the street, for example, has good, unpretentious food served with a smile. Save your money and your time!

I arrived at a late summer evening (with temperatures around 29 C.). I got a table out on the street, had good food (salad and pasta of the day) and nice German beer. That was good.

While staying with friends in Wiesenbach, we spent an evening in the charming Greek restaurant Kreta - and returned the next evening. I did enjoy the delicious and creative selection of dishes and wine. In addition, I felt very welcome at this friendly family managed place. We had the Auberginencrème (eggplant cream) served with excellent bread as a starter â and reordered it again the next evening. I had grilled goat cheese with red beet, rucola, walnut and honey â simply delicious â I had never had such a tasty meal in a Greek restaurant. We had stuffed champignons and Hühnerfilet (chicken filet) with fresh salad â all very good. They had run out of the âTomatenkaltschaleâ (cold tomato soup) that I wanted to order â and this is a GOOD sign: What they prepare is fresh and they may run out of their fresh products. I do like that.As I had to drive, I could not drink any of their Greek wines, but then I could take away a glass of Naousa red wine in âmyâ glass bottle of mineral water to enjoy the wine at home â very kind! The selection of carefully and freshly prepared dishes goes well beyond the standard offerings that you find in other Greek restaurants. I can only agree with another comment that I found here: âAn oasis in the desert of Greek restaurants in and around Heidelbergâ. The drive from (crowded) Heidelberg to (relaxed) Wiesenbach takes about half an hour, and the restaurant at the main street (Hauptstrasse) offers free parking. When staying in Wiesenbach again, I will surely return to the Restaurant Kreta im Stehwagen.

I was there last weekend and I enjoyed the meals: tasty, good portions, fair price! We should find more libanese restaurants all over the world! :)When it's good, it's full of people... we had difficulties to find a place on the terrasse...I strongly recommand anyway! :)

I arrivee 6:15 on a summer evening. 4 outside tables, more inside. Inside looks nice, but outside is cooler. My drink order was taken in less than 5 minutes. The menu had a fairly broad selection of Lebanese (or generically Mediterranean) dishes with chicken, lamb, beef, or vegetarian. My dish--grilled lamb on a spit--was tasty. The wine arrived and the food order was taken in less than another 5 minutes. My waitress was very accommodating about keeping the wine cool while I finish a newly ordered beer.Only a few bad notes: as with many outdoor venues, there was cigarette smoke. Through the window I could hear ugly music indoors (but it was not too loud outside). The grilled meat had a little more gristle than I find acceptable. But on balance, in terms of price/performance, I found it enjoyable.

Traditional fine-dining restaurant with hotel rooms located directly in the center of the old town of Heidelberg. You will find the ideal place to sit back, relax and enjoy!
I had dinner with friends on a Monday during the week before Christmas. The place was packed and almost too noisy. The food was a good interpretation of traditional German fare. Overall the place is pricey, but the quality was worth it (we paid 240 Euros for four, one dish each with drinks and a bottle of wine). What I did not like was that the servers had an attitude and were rather inefficient. For example, it took two reminders for us to finally get the wine we ordered. Really?

Enjoy the relaxed and stylish atmosphere in our restaurant! For cooking you need experience, as well as best raw materials and time! You will find an exclusive selection of Italian delicacies in our restaurant. We spoil our guests with home-made pasta, a
The Italian food at this Italian restaurant was excellent. Grilled vegetable appetizers were creative, and wonderfully flavorful. Salads were great. Steak, which they seem to specialize in, was a disappointment. Biggest disappointment was that the advertised size was not possibly what was served. The 500 gram T-Bone was the same size as the 240 gram sirloin. The bone was small, and not possibly 260 grams. Plus, the taste was just mediocre. Would go again, but skip the steak, and order all Italian.
