Upon arrival at this sports centre complex, you might be forgiven for thinking you've made a mistake... But stick with it because the Brasserie has a good choice of specials and regular menu dishes; and the waiter was particularly knowledgeable about the wines on offer.Highly recommended, I will definitely go again!

It was a very warm day in Lorrach and the moving choral festival was in full swing with a cappella chorales of all age groups in full swing through the central square nearby the open market with fresh fruits and vegetables from various local farms. After shopping and listening for a while it was time for lunch. Many outdoor seating establishments abount but our daughter chose Symposium. Symposium is best described as Greek Fusion. Basic gyros done in an assortment of styles. Cheese fondue (very rich), gyro meat in a type of goulash and small potatoes, and a shishkabob with pork, a meat patty and calamari rings. Very large dishes for lunch outside at nearly 90F. Inexpensive wines and beers. Service was decent.

We were looking for a place to eat before boarding the 'Car-Train' to Hamburg and were directed to this place. The place was quite full so we feared missing the train. After we pointed this out to the owner, we received our food very fast. My Calzone was great and so was my Wife's salad. We made the train :-)

well, to find your way around at El Greco is rather cumbersome. On the other Hand you visit this place for ist Food and Service.Service is excellent and includes anything you would expect (family run).Food is all along Greece and offers some xtras such as Pizza and children´s plates. Prices are reasonable and plates are well filled. Meat is very good.Go there to EAT, place itself is not worth staying. Bathrooms are unheated.

Greek cuisine, nice cosy atmosphere, moderate level place. You will have a good choice of dishes, which are tasty, although not special. Nicely served, fresh and somewhat home -like. Quality is good, prices are not high, especially coming from Switzerland. We liked local drinks, especially metaxa. Deserts are quite good and pretty large.I would say, place has nice atmosphere and good food. So, recommended. Usually it's overbooked, so you have to reserve or to come early at opening. Works until late hours. Accept cash and Maestro. Stuff is a little busy so you might have to wait or not get enough attention. But yet it was not disturbing.

We visited in August and sat outside where they even have a fountain which made the atmosphere even more relaxing. The service was great. They hadn't had lamb tajine on their menu but offered to arrange it for us. Food was plenty and super delicious. Got even a surprise desert. Highly recommendable!

We've been visiting this restaurant now for 3 years and always look forward for the free cake dessert as it's very mouth watering. Always have the same menu for the appetizers (something with minced lamb inside), then husband always choose Shish Tawouk and I always choose Filet Habibi (both come with the Batata Harra ) Always great, even though the portions are always change from small to big and small again. It's a highly-recommended restaurant for dinner

Wow this is a great restaurant in Lorrach Germany. We walked to this from our hotel about a 7 minute walk. The owners greeted us and we ate large. The salads are fresh and very tasty dressings. The steaks are well prepared and wow on the salmon and veal dishes. Very nice atmosphere and the dishes are like art work for these people. I will be coming back again.

Very attentive & friendly staff who could all talk perfect English - my German is very basic. Varied menu and popular with both locals & business groups. The next time I am in Lörrach this will be my first restaurant stop!
