Each visit to the restaurant is now a great taste experience for us. The combination of ingredients always excites the pallet in some of the most unexpected ways. The fish dish last night was exquisite. The lamb maultaschen and asparagus combined local menus with great flavors. The service is really top class. Always impressive when the service staff great you professionally at the door, remember the table orders and deliver the correct dish to the correct person. The wine list can also be explained and recommendations for the right wine with your meal. Really a great team. Thanks again for a great evening. Have been visiting this Restaurant since more than 30 years. There is consistency in food and service since all these years.Personal attention by the owner of the restaurant is guaranteed. It's wonderful homecoming every time I visit.Important however is to book a table well in advance, because this restaurant is popular in the region and quickly sold out each day.

Our family (my wife and 4 kids) love to find great restaurants and we stumbled on this one and were lucky enough to get a table. The service was very good and we all ordered a different entree and everyone was very happy with their Dinner. I strongly recommend this place for a great meal with a fun upscale atmosphere. Seemed like one of the higher end restaurants in Rothenberg but the prices were very reasonable.Dear DuaneK2424,Thank you for bringing your kids along into the Topinambur - wow 4 - just like us!It would have been a treat for your kids to stay in our family suite with bunk beds and starry sky - we built that especially for families.Thank your for recommendation to others to visit us for a upscale meal at reasonable prices - also here we promise not to raise the prices...;-)I remain with best regards,Ernest M.P. Again, A bit surprised by the raving TA reviews. Other than cute decor everything about this played shrieked mediocre - from the food selection to the food quality. Very bland, simple pizza and pasta, ok hamburgers (they forgot the cheese and never brought it). But the worst part, the lovely server was left in her own at lunch time rush on a Saturday and a meal that should have taken less than an hour took 2.5 hours!!!!!!! My little girls both had serious meltdowns while waiting for food. We would have left but everything was either packed or only open for dinner. Definitely give this one a miss.

Iâve been to Alt Hall several times and each time Iâve been, the food has never disappointed me!Alt Hallâs cuisine is Greek. Although I havenât had food in Greece yet, I imagine they would taste rather similar!Menus are in German and English so itâs easy enough to find what you want. They also have a wide selection of dishes - almost every meat type you can think of, they have it.Iâd recommend their seafood dishes - the calamari and grilled octopus are simply delicious and cooked perfectly resulting in tender dishes instead of rubbery ones which tend to happen when you overcook these meats. Even the salmon I had in the fish platter was amazing!We also shared a meat platter - the lamb and beef were cooked well, with a slight pink in the centre. Also very tender with a nice chargrill taste.Each time Iâve been to Alt Hall has been an enjoyable experience and would definitely head back again the next time Iâm in Schwäbisch HallSher A, thank you for your review.

Well this was a surprise. We were a group of 17 travelers on a 10-day trip across Germany. In Noerdlingen we simply needed a quick lunch and a break from German food. Instead, what we experienced was a highlight of the entire (already very special) trip. Sorbas is a side trip to Greece, thanks to Yanni's great spirit and thanks to the quality of the kitchen. We felt as though we were family arriving for a celebration rather than strangers just passing through. Our only regret was that we were there for lunch and had to stay on an onward schedule. We envy guests who can spend a long evening at Sorbas, enjoying all the stages of a wonderful great meal. (Yanni saved us a bundle on dinner. That night at the Hofbraeuhaus in Munich, everyone still was so satisfied from lunch that we hardly ordered anything beyond the beer!)

The little place serves great Italian food, at good prices, with kind, efficient service from the owners. The menu is small but everything we ordered was delicious. I particularly liked the swordfish pasta, wonderfully fresh and tasting of the sea. The pizzas also hit the mark. The panna cotta was among the best Iâve tasted. I loved the family vibe and the obvious care taken over every dish. Seriously good eating. Do book though. All the tables were reserved when we went.
