located at the old market where there are another tow restaurants, a cinema and a convenience shop.the service is slow, but polite.the food is average: the vitello tonnato is, perhaps, its best choice. pasta is acceptable, but nothing from another planet. their gnocchis are below what should be expected.prices are slightly high. the breakfast list sounds good, with a large vaiety of eggs at reasonable prices, but i have been there twice, always for lunch.there are better places to eat in uberlingen.

After reading some of the negative reviews published here there must have been a change of management or staff or whatever in recent times. We walked in here on Friday evening at s busy time without a booking and were made to feel most welcome. Our table had a great view of the lake and the alps beyond, music and atmosphere were fresh and lively, but service was what impressed us most. My partners spaghetti marinara arrived when he was visiting the bathroom and the waiter insisted on taking it back to the kitchen to keep it warm, just little extra touches like that, the presentation of our food and drinks was also top notch, but the prices were very reasonable for such a great location and impressive decor. Would highly recommend when in the area.

The restaurent is upstairs above their sister restaurant on the Uberlingen front. The room is a bit more formal but the menu is great. I have eaten here I couple of times with a group of about 6. We have ll had good food. The grilled octopus is fantastic and is a highlight on the menu.Pasta & pizza are both fresh and excellent

this italian restaurant, partially facin the lake, offers good italian food at very reasonable prices. mussels in white wine sauce were very good and hearty for 10.50 euros. pasta is also very good. desserts good as well....the service is very polite and efficient.i do recommend this restaurant.

I was in Ãberlingen for two days. I needed to find a place to eat, did a quick search to find Kulinari and decided to give it a go. The restaurant is managed by a lovely, husband and wife team. He is from Sri Lanka, and the menu was a combination of Italian, Sri Lanka, and local cuisine. I started with an egg roll appetizer, followed by a lamb dish. It was extremely tasty, and with the red wine was combination of a good dinner. I recommend this restaurant if youâre in town for a few days.

This restaurant is tucked away from the more tourist-y area of Uberlingen and in a residential area. It is small, having maybe ten tables outside and maybe eight or so inside the bar area. The staff was nice. The service the night we went was a little bit slow, which was hard on the toddler and pre-schooler in our group, but when the food came it was delicious and the ambiance was nice! One problem--totally not within the restaurant's control--is that when food appears, wasps do also. This was a problem everywhere we went in Germany. I have been told that it is forbidden to kill wasps or destroy their nests so there isn't much anyone can do.

Our family had a great family meal at Al Lago. Three of us had the lasagna, two traditional and one with spinach and salmon. Both types of lasagna were the best that we can remember having. Otherwise, a very comfortable setting and location near the water. We would not hesitate to return.Thank you for wonderful comment! It's great to know, that the quality of our cuisine and the ambience of our restaurant are so well appreciated!

We were there several times and had always very food dishes. Whether it's pasta, pizza or meat. Everything was just fine. Needless to say that the wines were excellent. Regardless how crowded the Restaurant was the staff is always nice and friendly. If we visit Lake Constance again we certainly will be back.

The restaurant is a small, family owned business. The food is excellent, the chef must have used fresh products because my Spaghetti Napoli was delicious, that tomatoe sauce is just fabulous! The Tiramisu was fantastic as well. Price is very reasonable. Better to make reservation.
