Das Essen ist frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Auch wie es auf dem Teller angerichtet ist macht schon Lust zum Essen. Der Restaurantbesuch gehört bei uns zu jedem Thermenaufenthalt dazu.

Wer sehr gut essen möchte, dem können wir den Buchenauer Hof am Golfplatz in Sinsheim sehr empfehlen.Wir entschieden uns dieses Mal für ein Spargelgericht mit einem köstlichen Steak, ganz exzellent!

While the ambiance tries to find its place between traditional German "Gemuetlichkeit" and modern neutrality the kitchen struggles and fails to impress. During last year's visit we were told that the chef sources the meat on the menu (rump steak, filet) from METRO (Argentina), we felt on this recent visit that this is hardly the case anymore. The meat was dry and over cooked, the salad tasteless, the potato croquettes from the freezer bag and a gravy from the can. Too bad. This could be a true restaurant gem. It isn't. Not recommended.

Typical German. The restaurant has 2 parts: the bar (smoking area) with its German ambiance and the dining room. It's kind of old but it fits the bill. Had the Käseschnitzel (2 pièces of meat) with Spätzle. Very good food, excellent service. A safe place to have a decent German meal

The Sinsheim museum is probably the only one where both the Concorde and the TU-144 are on display. After the visit to the museum, it was delightful to find Helget's so close by, maybe within walking distance. And the ambience, food and particularly the dessert was a memorable experience.

This restaurant is lovely. You sit in these over size barrels all very romantic and unique. You could even shut the door and shut the rest of the restaurant out. Ring the bell when ready. The food is lovely, plenty to choose from. Me and my husband had hot stone meal, the meat was cooking still as it came to the table. Kids had schnitzel and pommes. They loved it!

We were invited to a family festivity at this restaurant, and totally impressed by the individuality and quality we experienced.From the Starters to Dessert the food was exceptional! Particularly impressive was the freshness and variety: Adults were treated to grilled vegetables, meat, fish and a variety of tasty healthy salads (incl. Buckwheat), and children relished the tasty sausages and roast potatoes.Another highlight was the friendly, professional service. Our glasses were never empty, and the Chefs always attentive. We were very impressed by the intern from Guinea, who was knowledgeable, articulate and totally customer-focused! Well done Team!
