Nice relaxed atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff.The portion sizes are huge, 8 pieces of bruschetta as a starter! I could have just ate that, it was delicious. The pizza and pasta dish that followed were tasty and worth the wait.

This cool restaurant is not a tourist trap. My german family brought me here because it is their favorite restaurant. And now, it is one of mine. If you are visiting the nearby Hohenzolleran castle in Hechingen, you should check out this friendly, delicious place.

We went to have Pizza and Burger as a group of 7 with kids. Much of the place looks like an unfinished building site, but I guess that's what some people think is modern design. They had baby chairs, which was a big plus, also the playground was nice. However, the pizzas and burgers were plainly not good (pizza tasteless and too soft, burgers overdone) and our complaint about getting the wrong pizza topping was rudely rejected by the restaurant manager. The serving staff was quite unprofessional. One guy managed to dump hot tea water on a kid on the next table, which was apparently none of the restaurant manager's business. We live close, but we won't go there again.

Staying at the Fischer hotel we walked a few minutes down the street to this wonderful restaurant. We hadn't made a reservation and the outside dining area was full; not to worry as we were invited to dine inside in a very spacious and airy dining area. The menu had plenty of choice and we both elected to go for a fish main course. The salmon came with rice whilst the plaice was served with new potatoes; both dishes were expertly prepared and good value.The service was equal to the quality of the food; a delightful restaurant.

Excellent food, wonderful service. I do not speak any German and the staff was very pleasant and patient with me. The owners personally helped us order and talked us through the menu. I can't recommend it enough, my work colleges and I have already been twice this week and plan on going back.
