I think even if the meal was mediocre, I'd have enjoyed it as there is such a wonderful feel to this place with the huge hand hewn beams and wooden tables. A little out of the way but definitely worth finding it. And the food - 5 of us and everything we had was good - especially the Maultaschen (kind of a German ravioli). Great evening!

Sehr lecker, alles schien frisch gemacht/gebacken, sehr netter Service, super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.Einziges Manko: Besonders gemütlich ist es in dem kleinen Raum nicht. Im Winter sollte man es vermeiden, zu nahe an den Türen zu sitzen, Sonntagmorgen war reger Betrieb = viel kalte Luft.

Ich kann gar nicht genug ausdrücken wie sehr dieser schöne Ort im Kontrast zum absolut unglaublich schlechten Dinner in the Dark steht. Meine Freundin und ich haben daran teilgenommen, weil wir einen Gutschein geschenkt bekommen hatten. Dass wir dort tatsächlich 2 Stunden auf das Essen warten mussten hat das gewöhnliche Essen leider auch nicht besonders gemacht. Der Höhepunkt allen Schreckens war der unglaublich unsympathischen Clown/Koch. Wären wir etwas mutiger gewesen, dann hätten wir die Veranstaltung gerne bereits nach einer Stunde verlassen.

My wife and I are visiting family and friends here, (she was born here) and had lunch at the Hasen today. Everything that was brought to the table was very tasty and it was served up quite quickly. I can highly recommend the Kornwestheim plate which offers a nice slice of beef, maultaschen, local noodles and a salad. Very Good!

Service toll, Qualität und Portionen einfach unschlagbar. Steakgrösse mind.300gr. Preislich auch sehr interessant. Es gibt noch für ca.8EUR ein Mittagessen mit Salat und Suppe. Da brauch man daheim nicht kochen. Salate und Dressings selbst gemacht.

This is a very nice and cosy place on the town square in Bad Cannstatt. The food was really tasty & fresh - European BBQ beef & local German famous dishes like Schnitzel, & to drink good local wine and some local craft beer. One of the best German dining experiences I had on my trip to Stuttgart.

Come and try the homemade Schnitzels served here. The portions are big, and that's the small Schnitzel size! Be warned you must be very hungry to tackle the bigger servings.As the other posts suggests, the food is great! Take some time out and travel to this place, its not in the city centre but in one of the surrounding suburbs. It's located at the ground floor of a residential housing block the next building from a small Spar like supermarket. Come when it opens if you haven't booked as there isn't many covers (seats) and with such great food and hospitality it does get busy in peak times. Thanks for fitting us in!

Nice Restaurant with good food, the Service is excellent even a bit overdone.Price Level quite high, but the food is worth it.You better reserve a table in Advance.

Ausgezeichneter Jägerrostbraten, auch die Rösti sind erste Klasse. Es wird alles frisch zubereitet und auch der Service ist immer wieder sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.
