The hotel is excellent, the food less so. We didn't have anything specific to complain about, but neither did it wow us. Average Schnitzel, a bit thick, rather heavy Rahmgeschnetzeltes, very small portions on the kids menus. Super friendly staff with decent English.

The well-known restaurant Knoblauch is situated in the 4-star hotel Knoblauch in Friedrichshafen-Jettenhausen.
My favourite place for lunch. They do an excellent set menu lunch for about 10 Euro. This place is 5star in appearance. The menu in the evening is very good and very reasonable for the price you pay. You would be hard pressed to find anywhere in the UK that served food to this standard in perfect surroundings at the prices they charge.Typical German everything just so down to the tiniest detail. They don't rob you for the drinks like uk restaurants. 3 euros for a beer 5 to 6 euro for a 250 mil glass of wine.If you like beer try the crystal Weizen bier with a slice of lemon. Light crisp and dry ideal on a hot summer day. This is also a highly recommended hotel

Good, honest food at a reasonable price in comparison with the surrounding choices. Right by the lake where you can swim. Busy outside, but comfortable inside plus the food did not take too long to arrive. Desserts looked great (ice creams). Portions of a good size. English menu available.

I was with my colleague from US in this excellent restaurant. The food is very tasty. We had a Cheese-Onion Soup, which is just great. Than kind of a Caesar Salad to share and than Rumpsteak with Spaetzle and Mushroom source. We enjoyed the food and place very much. The âWirtshausâ is highly recommended.Hello TopGunFun. Recommended by hotel staff and only a short walk away I needed to try it. Itâs right by the entrance to the Zeppelin factory.Itâs great. The building is old and inside is classically German. Service was prompt with English menues available. I went simple: French onion soup (German style) followed by a local Swabian âravioli.â Definitely not Italian. Very filling and tasty.Their grilled meats and fish looked good as well, maybe next time.Beer was good and inexpensive. Coffee was great.Dog friendly. You need to have a bill over 30⬠before you can use a credit card. Easy enough to spend that for a party of 2

The food was excellent.. if I had to nitpick, we were unfortunately there the night of a large party. Once the party started, our service waned. Fortunately we were not in a hurry to,leave the beautiful scenery. I had the ceviche, and the bread salad. Had plenty to eat, did not get an entree, although everyone else's looked fabulous!

Buchhorner Suben was our second choice for dinner in Friedrichshafen but it turned out to be a perfect choice. As a main course we had local white fish with almond butter, spinach and parsley potatoes, swabian strip loin steak with roasted onions and thyme-jus, bacon-beans and homemade Spätzles and chicken steaks for children. From the sweets we had dessert variation âBuchhorner Stubenâ and variation of black and white mousse au chocolat. All meals were delicious and serving was stylish as well. Moreover we have been very satisfied also with service. Serving waitress was professional, flexible and modest.

We dined here as we were staying in the hotel (see review). The restaurant offered 3 different menus, each with the choice of a taste of wines, eventually. Portions are not very small. There was also the opportunity to order à la carte and waiters seemed to be accommodating about it. However we chose the menus which are well priced and the food was all good. They serve modern German cuisine and some things were a bit unusual (which is good) but generally ranged from good to very good. I would return.

Here like triftt you look. The heart of our guest house is the curving bar area where you have nice conversations with a delicious aperitif, digestif, beer or wine ... Home at the beautiful Lake Constance. Regional ceiling paintings and the typical round
I visited Lukullum while I was in town for business, based on a customer recommendation. I went there on my first day in Friedrichshafen and kept going there every single day throughout my entire stay. The restaurant is very spacious and has a lot of tables suitable for different amounts of people. I in fact, went there by myself each day as the restaurant was just a 15 minutes away from my hotel, and always had great experience. The restaurant is located right beside the central station, in about 15 minutes walk from the old town. The menu at the restaurant is varied And any person with dietary restrictions can find something to eat. Their salads are great and rich with flavors. The fish is fresh and the steak is highly recommended. On one of the evenings I tried a dessert based on chocolate muss and strawberries And that too was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend everyone to visit this restaurant. I will go back there again on my next visit to Friedrichshafen.Hello MissMayG,thank you very much for visiting us in the Lukullum every day of your stay in Friedrichshafen.
