My wife and, accompanied by two dogs, ate in the Douce restaurant of the Hirshen hotel. The restaurant is bi-cultural (French/German) and offers an outstandingly light cuisine based on super fresh, quality products. Service is warmly welcoming and very friendly and the wine list features a broad selection of local and other (mostly French) wines. One minor criticism: we felt that the individual dishes of our 5 course menu could have had more differentiated tastes. Alternatively, it could have been that, used to more highly spiced food, we missed the some of the subtlety of the tastes on offer. In any event, we give the owner, the chefs and the excellent service presonnel the benefit of the doubt! Viator Coloniae.

la façade ne paye pas de mine le cadre reste une auberge de village mais mais pour le reste l'accueil le service et la cuisine c'est fabuleux Copieux bien cuisiné et bien présenter un excellent foie gras puis une merveille d'ombre chevalier et pour finir une belle tranche de chevreuil extra moelleux avec une cuisson maîtriser les vins super la serveuse très joviale et attentionnée et rapide l'addition reste très douce car le qualité prix est exeptionnel bravo chef et à toute son équipe nous reviendront

Excellent and traditional kitchen with modern elements (patisserie, molecular kitchen), but just right so quality and taste do not suffer. Not cheap, but excellent products and traditional cooking with a modern twist justify it. Nice ambiente on the terrace - quality everywhere, from the furniture over the table cloths to the gardening. The best non-Michelin-stared Restaurant I have eaten at for a long time.

Stayed over en route to Italy,rooms were comfortable,we had a drink and a lovely steak in the open air restaurant,all in all a nice break to re-charge the batteries ready for remainder of journey

We have stopped here a few times for a coffee and cake during a bikeride up through France, back through Germany, from Basel (or the other way around). Nice terrace when the weather is good. The coffee and cakes are great. There are some more substantial meals to have, but we have never tried these. If the number of people is anything to go by, the food must be quite nice. If you a have kids they can safely run around the square.

Situé au centre de Wintzenheim, à proximité immédiate de l'église ce restaurant porte très bien son nom. Le père, la mère et le fils travaillent avec passion pour la satisfaction générale de leurs clients. Un peu méconnu car loin des circuits touristiques il mérite largement un détour. Parking facile.

This is a wonderful local place filled with friendly locals. A group of us x-pats ate here and were warmly welcomed. The food was very good, there is seating inside or out and it was very busy. The service was good for Bing so busy. Recommend.

We went in for an evening meal which is served from 5pm.We chose a three course menu about 18 Euro each. This came with a chicken noodle soup, a large separate plate of dressed mixed salad followed by two slices of pork escalope in a pepper cream sauce with a separate platter of French fries. A scoop of walnut ice-cream and cream was the dessert.All very tasty and very filling!

repas de boulot entre collègue, pas beaucoup de temps pour déjeuner.Service rapide, pour 13 euros, biere/salades de crudité/schnitzel/frites/café.pas trop eu le temps de feuilleter la carte.Pas de terrasse (ou pas encore installée), malgré les 20°C du jour.bonne adresse, a refaire.
