Reviews on European food in Ulm, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. Founded in the mid-9th century, Ulm enjoyed a long history as a free imperial city, ruled only by the Holy Roman Emperor with no pesky princes in between. An important trade town for centuries, Ulm was also the birthplace of Albert Einstein. Rising 530 feet, Ulm Minster has the world’s tallest steeple, the top of which can be reached via 768 steps. Ulm’s younger sister city, Neo Ulm (or New Ulm) lies just across the Danube River and is part of Bavaria rather than Baden-Wurttemberg.

Very large place with lot's of wood that makes it cozy. Nice food for a fair price. Large portions also. Only shame was that both our mains were served with 10 minutes difference in time so one was almost done eating when the other could start eating.Dear Staessen, we´re glad that you like our location and that you enjoyed our food. However, we are deeply sorry for the time difference. We really hope that you accept our apology and would be pleased to welcome you as our guests again.Kind regardsyour BarfüÃer team

We popped in here for lunch on our day trip to Ulm. Lovely Italian restaurant right on the river in the Fisherman's Quarter. We were seated in the lower part overlooking the river which was lovely. I ordered a delicious tortellini pasta with ham and cheeses. The flavours were amazing and it was hot and creamy; just how I like it! All the food we ordered was lovely and we all left feeling full. Prices were excellent for the quality and the service was top notch. 5*!!Thank you so much for your stunning review! We´re glad that you enjoyed your stay and would be pleased to welcome you as our guests again soon.Best regardsyour tanivera team

Beautiful foods and wine nice location and great old atmosphere. We had a group of around 20. Everything was great except the waitress was quite rude.

Relaxed local restaurant offering a wide range of typical local food. There is also a salad bar. Location is in a side street of Hirschstrasse, the main shopping street. It is a good place to relax and recharge after sightseeing and shopping. In summer one can sit outside too.

Be warned- these schnitzels are huge! Even the small portion will be a struggle for those who are not seasoned schnitzel consumers. They are delicious though, and you can take home what you can't eat, which makes for a delicious lunch the next day. For the meal size, prices are very reasonable and the service is friendly. Reservations recommended as it did fill up quite quickly from about 6:30. Would love to come back here!

We may not be the best people to review this restaurant, because we only had a very light lunch, sharing a single roasted vegetable salad, but it was quite good and the service was outstanding and the beer was German!Parking was a challenge but otherwise recommended.

Ate here one night on a business trip. Parking is a bit of challenge so I parked at civic center building and walked about 5 minutes. They offered a variety of options on the menu. Good ambiance and excellent service. I ordered the grilled dorado and it was very good served with a salad and side dish of vegetables. Good value for about twenty euros.

We were here for my birthday last evening, a big loud group of 12, The food was really really tasty. I recommend the Grilled Feta... It was super yummy!!! The service was really warm and nice and they really made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
A very friendly and serviceorientated staff welcoming you like at home and giving you the perfect feeling of a warm ambiance. Beside âï¸ they are offering a different breakfast and if you need something which isnât on the menue card simply ask. They also offer small dishes which are tasty. In summer you find a place outside and youâll have your car parking just a very few steps in front of you. I also recommend their finest tea.

Excellent food quality, outstanding wine chart, service always up to the situation.Quantities, despite some negative previous reviews I'd read on TA, are according to me and my After our first dinner we replicated the very next day.Average price for 2 courses (Antipasto + First or Second main course) including beverages: around 50 Euro. Which is in my opinion quite fair.
