We were on a family trip to Hall and, quite by chance, found Bergl. After some umming and ahhing, we decided to try it out as mountain cuisine sounded fun. And it was excellent. Superb Wiener Schnitzel and Bratkartoffel, good soups, nice wines. Excellent "traditional-modern" ambience and attentive and friendly service. We thought it looked new and yes, it only opened in September 2017. Try it out - it's REALLY worth it!

The Sudhaus might well have the most dramatic and impressive setting of any brewpub in Germany. While they have indoor seating too (and a beer museum), the highlight is definitely their rooftop beer garden. The view over the town of Schwaebisch Hall, and the valley that surrounds it, is magnificent. The food is pitched as being a bit more upmarket than your typical brewery, and it is more expensive than similar places, but the prices certainly aren't as sky-high as the views. The beer was perfectly nice without being anything special in my opinion, but it certainly tasted good sitting out on the roof. You should certainly book a table if you want to sit on the roof, especially if you want a table on the side overlooking the town.

fantastic Gourmet Food on a very high Level, every dish prepared to perfection. Kind of dishes is traditional and doesn`t Change much over the years but it is so delicious that you don`t miss anything and enjoy the fact that you can be sure to have a wonderful evening.

Das Stadt-gut Hotel und Restaurant in Schwäbisch Hall, übernachten und lecker essen Master kitchen: here the chef cooks! Swabian- hittish- Franconian, regional, seasonal to classic-international ... refined and varied! Preferred use of regional and biolog
Ate here in June with a larger group. Schwabisch Hall is an absolutely charming city and the Goldener Adler adds to the charm. The hotel/restaurant is located right on the market square adjacent to the open air theatre/church. They provide outdoor seating as well as elegant casual indoor dining. The service is exceptional and the food is amazingly great! We enjoyed the pork with mushroom sauce and although it was a large portion, I was able to eat most of it. It paired well with the Mohrenkopfle beer only available in this region brewed by Haller Lowenbrau! I cannot speak for the hotel accommodations as I did not stay here; however, the bathrooms are large and very clean.

I hosted a business dinner here and everyone had a great time. The service was efficient and friendly. Meal portions were very large and everyone's food was excellent. The Beer selection, as one would expect, was varied and no one complained.

After being in Schwäbisch Hall for several months the visit at OHSO was the first culinary wow-experience. Finally a restaurant that respects local products and interprets those products in a new way. The décor of the restaurant, the service are in line with this idea - to-the-point, efficient and friendly. I felt properly taken care of â however the huge surprise is Simonâs innovative, simple and tasty kitchen. There are just 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts on the menu. However the choice remains difficult as there are so many interesting options. Even simple dishes like the mixed salad turn out to be full of surprises â I sticked to the vegetarian options (salads of beans âSchwarzaugenbohnenâ and roll from potatoes âKartoffelrouladeâ) and have been rewarded with a bouquet of great flavors. What I found so surprising is game of flavors and textures â there is a young master in the kitchen. I hope that Simon and his team will continue to have success and delight guests in this pretty town and that I have the chance for more visits in the future.Dear Michael H,it is very pleasant to read all your kind words and the detailed description of your experience at our restaurant. Thank you for your great feedback, we are looking forward to see again at Ohso!Best regards,S. Würtz

When in Schwabisch Hall, do yourself a favor and take a short walk over the bridge and stop in at this brewery restaurant. Food was great, service good, and beer was wonderful. You can sip your beer and drink in the atmosphere of this great old beer hall in this picturesque town!

Iâve been to Alt Hall several times and each time Iâve been, the food has never disappointed me!Alt Hallâs cuisine is Greek. Although I havenât had food in Greece yet, I imagine they would taste rather similar!Menus are in German and English so itâs easy enough to find what you want. They also have a wide selection of dishes - almost every meat type you can think of, they have it.Iâd recommend their seafood dishes - the calamari and grilled octopus are simply delicious and cooked perfectly resulting in tender dishes instead of rubbery ones which tend to happen when you overcook these meats. Even the salmon I had in the fish platter was amazing! We also shared a meat platter - the lamb and beef were cooked well, with a slight pink in the centre. Also very tender with a nice chargrill taste. Each time Iâve been to Alt Hall has been an enjoyable experience and would definitely head back again the next time Iâm in Schwäbisch HallSher A, thank you for your review.

My meal at this restaurant was excellent in every way. Menus in English or German. Helpful, attentive and friendly staff. Excellent food, superbly presented. I had the 65 Euro 3 course menu - worth every pfennig. The mens' washroom was clean as an operating room and featured cotton hand towels.

This was our second visit to Entenback and hopefully won't be our last. We were served, as before, by the owner/manager who's English is excellent and he even understands our sense of humour. I had a dish translated as three various steaks. They were beef, veal and lamb. All were perfectly cooked and amongst the most tender pieces of meat I have ever had. The local white wine he recommended was also excellent
