So I was sweating, luckily the second day some rain cooled it below thirty. Bed is short with a foot end so not got if you are >6"3 ... bathroom very small, too. Otherwise quite OK and rather clean

Reviewed By OnlilyWe got really disappointed when we entered in our room, because it was not the one we had reserved thru Booking.com. Also the room had a very bad smell, what caused already a bad impression of the hotel. After a long talk with the staff at the reception another room was offered, but still not the one we had in mind and reserved. We found out that the pictures showed do not mach with the offers. At the end the room we had was clean with a good bathroom. The layout of the room is unbearable, with too much furniture for a hotel room. Unfortunately it was not the one I wanted. We didn’t leave the hotel because the staff was polite and tried to solve the problem. The breakfast is also not as the pictures showed at the site, as well as the coffee is horrible, cold and not tasteful.

Really okay, but no working wifi
Reviewed By jondfA nice hotel in a very nice small German town (a few places to eat very near by). Room was rather large and very comfortable. Great for one night and a nice breakfast the next morning. Two complaints one (like a lot of these small German places) they handle the WiFi themselves and the router on my floor just wasn't working. No one around who could help at 10PM. Second complaint - their credit card machine just couldn't process my U.S. non-chip & pin credit card. Ended up having to pay cash, luckily I had some.

Der Service und die Gastfreundlichkeit ist wie das Essen ganz nach unserem Geschmack. Liebes „zur Sonne“-Team macht weiter so ?? Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch. Reviewed By Guenni2013Da ich öfters in Bad Marienberg bin und schon in den anderen Hotels der Stadt genächtigt habe,kann ich die Überschrift mit gutem gewissen bestätigen.Die Zimmer sind neu und mit bestem Inventar ausgestattet.Das fängt mit einem bequemen Bett an und hört mit der begehbaren Dusche auf. Personal ist allesamt super freundlich und hilfsbereit.besonders hervorzuheben ist hier Frau Menges.Das Frühstuck ist"Hammer".Frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen sucht man meistens in viel höherer Sternebewertung vergebens,aber hier wird jedes Rührei oder Spiegelei für jeden Gast frisch in die Pfanne gehauen.Meine Frau und ich haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und wir werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch wieder hier übernachten.
