Bad Hall is a market town in the Steyr-Land district in central the Austrian state of Upper Austria. Its name, Bad Hall, means "salt bath," a reference to its long history of baths and spas. It is renowned for its saline springs, strongly impregnated with iodine and bromine. Pizza, Pasta and more in a relaxed environment. Affordable meals made of mostly Austrian products. Get every 10th pizza for free with your pizza pass. Seasonally we serve fresh mussels starting every Wednesday as long as stocks last! Gift cards available in the restaurant.
I tried their pasta with red sauce with basil. It was spicy and perfect for Indians! They serve it piping hot and tasted good.

The Stiftsschank in the first courtyard of the monastery Kremsmuenster is a long established eatery capable of feeding large crowds. The menu features daily specials reflecting seasonal bounty. The focal point of the regular menu is regional Austrian cuisine. The kitchen falls unfortunately prey to the trend of plate decorations that are alien to the dishes. My roasted kidneys were adorned with two slices of raw tomatoes and a few sprigs of watercress. The same watercress was found on a dish of scrambled eggs and chanterelles. Portion size is generous but the service seems a little bit dysfunctional. We only found out that one of the daily specials ordered was no longer available when the remaining food for the table was ready to be served. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the area. There is an outdoor area that is preferable weather permitting to the huge indoor dining hall.

Found through Tripadvisor and certainly pleased with ranking.
Walked here from hotel and found easily. Facility name is well posted on front of building.
Because the weather was pleasant, I settled myself on one of the few tables outside. You are like almost on the street. The road curves around the hotel/restaurant, yet traffic was moderate. The street view is nothing. Service was prompt and friendly and patient while I tried to inquire about place an order in German.
The chair was comfortable. The server's recommendation of the evening was duck breast with knodel and that turned out to be a tasty choice. Other items on the menu are traditional Austrian dishes and varieties with meat, fowl and some fish. Skipped desert and went to regular coffee. Coffee was tasty and strong.
While finishing the coffee the waitress asked if 3 patrons could join me at the table. I was about to get up and leave when she kindly asked to remain seated. This lead to a pleasant conversation with the German tourists while they clearly enjoyed their meal. My German skills were pushed to the limit.
The waitress requested to pay in cash, a negative, since I was low on cash and wanted to avoid bank ATM withdrawal fees. Cash it was.

Not just a restaurant but also a hotel with classy laid out rooms. The chef produces the finest food and was working as cook for the Red Bull Formula one team for a few years.
for Business meetings, intimate dinners well worth the call.
