What a great spot which is in full sun and the junction of the lifts. Lovely mountain restaurant. No-fuss order at the kiosk and good quality food delivered rapidly. Reasonable prices and more than happy to give you a pitcher of tap water with your meal. Indoors looks cosy too, but why eat indoors when it is sunny in the mountains !

I went to this restaurant recently with some friends. We thought we would grab a few pizzas before going out. We walked in the restaurant and the waitress very abruptly asked if we had booked - we said no (there were a few available tables and there was only 4 of us). The waitress then scoffed and laughed in my friends' face. I was quite shocked and said 'oh my god' not knowing if she was joking and she loudly replied 'yes OH MY GOD'. She sat us down and it took half an hour for her to come back and ask for our drink and food order. We started by ordering a pizza and she said 'the pizza is taking a while, you'll be waiting ages' we asked how long and she got another waitress to check. It was about 20 mins so we thought that was fine. We tried to order 3 pizzas and a plate of chips to share with some wine and beer, before we could finish our order she said 'no you can't share, you all have to have a main dish'. This we found to be completely ridiculous and rude. At that point we just wanted to leave. I've never been served by someone so rude, she made us feel completely unwelcome and clearly didn't want us to eat there. We won't be going back.

The Alpine Lounge is a traditional restaurant with a view on quality products, located in the heart of the village. The menu offers a large range of dishes with a very good price-quality ratio. This place offers you different atmospheres:a combination of
Came here for drinks for apres ski. First of all, the atmosphere is completely dead and there was hardly anyone in there. Despite this, service remained incredibly slow. The real problem however was when we went to pay. The bill was â¬27.20 yet when I put the card in the machine I noticed the man tried to charge me â¬50!!!!! I would understand if one digit was wrong which would imply a mistake may have been made however this was a completely different amount to the bill and was attempting to charge us much more than we needed to pay. Even when making the server aware of this, no apology was given at all. Definitely will avoid this place in the future, wouldâve liked to give this place 0 stars if that was an option.Dear annmurphh,We have read your comments with deep concern and we truly apologise for what happened.May we kindly ask you to let us know on which day you visited our premises?Looking forward to hearing from you soon, we remain,The Management

We love Le Tyrol, especially when there are a bunch of us with hungry kids after a day on the slopes. The staff are consistently jolly and efficient and the pizzas are super. The goats cheese salad is big and light if you don't fancy pizza and the steaks looked amazing (I didn't try)

We ate here 3 times during our week-long ski trip. We had a great dinner on a Wednesday evening when our catered chalet hosts had the day off and recommended this place. It was so good, we returned twice more, for lunch. We were a group of 10, including 2 infants and 2 5 y.os. and the staff were outstanding, making sure they took quick orders for food and drinks for the kids and extremely patient when we couldn't quite decide on what to choose. This is serious casual dining, The pizza dough is made in house, as is the pasta. Usual Haute Savoie specialities we're good - Raclette and Tartiflette etc and reasonably priced carafes of wine. Pizzas easily could serve two.A no nonsense restaurant that goes out of its way to please

We stopped here for a light lunch after a morning on the slopes. The menu was extensive and thankfully catered for one of our fussy vegetarian children. Prices were very reasonable for the area with great coffee and hot chocolate - the cheapest we had found. Food arrived promptly and was hot and tasty - we were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the pizzas. Only slight niggle - the sign at the counter which suggested youâd pay more if failed to attempt to say please and thank you in French - thankfully we were able to.

We have been here twice now whilst on a skiing holiday. Both times we went in person to book and the owner was offish and plain rude. Nevertheless we gave her the benefit of the doubt. The meal itself was ok not fantastic and we had to ask for water though we could see other tables were given this automatically. But basically that staff are just a bit snooty and unnecessarily so. The owner replies in English even though you speak in French. Service was slow and when we paid there was no thanks just perfunctory receipt left on table. No thanks or goodbye on our way out. It just has an air of arrogance - âwe know weâll be busy anyway so donât need to bother with mannersâ type of attitude. We wonât be visiting again they just donât deserve the business.
