The reviews on here are sooo bad about this restaurant, but we really fancies Chinese food so in we went. Immediately we were greeted by the "scary old lady" who was just opening. She was nice enough, if somewhat forceful about her menu. We ordered and she ran off to cook. Another family arrived and stood for 5 minutes smiling embarrassedly at us at the lack if service. In the end I popped into the kitchen to tell her, rather than see her lose business. She told them to wait till she had cooked ours!I have to admit ours was quick, came in the wrong order (crispy duck last), but was tasty if not the finest quality sauces. It was an amusing experience which might have offended if we weren't primed to expect the worst. However, we got fed and had something to talk about. On the pricy side though for dinner for two (and a chicken fried rice for our son) at â¬112. An experience though.

I was expecting our lunch bill, for 32 rolls, to be well over 100chf, including miso, but it was 72chf - a great deal for a nice sushi lunch for 2 people - and we even got a combination of special rolls, and basic rollsYeah, so there not much to say besides "the sushi is pretty good, preice was very good"

Had the 29 euro menu - with chicken noodle soup and cuttlefish/seiche and dessert. Tasty and in sufficient quantity, although more expensive than other French Vietnamese restaurants on the other side of the lake. But Evian admittedly attracts more tourists who are willing to pay the higher prices, so not just Baie d'Halong. The Asian beer was a bit pricey at 6 euros the bottle (but choice of Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese). There is no menu du jour - maybe no demand for it. What was surprising though is that Pho is no longer available, apparently because there is no demand for it. A modest call to all Ãvianais: Ask for the Pho to return!

Great experience: excellent service and menu with fresh ingredients and genuine Thai dishes with Thais in the kitchen. Not a cheap place but worth it.

My friends and I decided to cross the lake for dinner and we were definitely not disappointed.Unlike Switzerland, authenticity actually means something on Evian. Le Tuk-Tuk brings you delicious and authentic Thai cuisine with perfect portions. Highly recommend the Pad Thai!
