As host of the first Winter Olympics in 1924, Chamonix will always have a place in the history books. Its main attractions are Mont-Blanc (Western Europe's tallest mountain) and the many ski areas that face the Chamonix Valley. Steep slopes and extreme weather conditions suit advanced skiers best, but there are also runs for beginners. Just make sure everyone in your party knows a green circle from a black diamond. Oh, and another note for the history books—Pierce Brosnan was here (filming a James Bond movie, The World Is Not Enough).

After a late lunch we decided a pizza would be good for the evening meal, especially as this restaurant was across the road from our hotel. Great pizza, nice staff, nice ambience. Another good night!

I eat here for 7 nights. The choice of Italian food was really good and great value for money. All the staff are really friendly, helpful and speak very good English. The food is always served very promptly within about 15 mins of ordering and is very filling, I found just 1 course filled me up even after a days hiking, and the pizzas were too large for me- a positive. Everything is good value with a main course, green salad and large beer coming to around 20 Euros. I would definitely use this place again. It has great views of the mountains too. It tends to get busy later so either book or go earlier.
Pizzeria located in Chamonix Sud, close to the Aiguille du Midi cable car. Our following is a local clientele, who are fans of neapolitan pizza. We are proud to offer quality products at a fair price. We also serve delicious organic desserts and drinks! C
Loved this place - thoughtful, sustainable ingredients, bio drinks, no plastic and vegan options. We found it on Google and wanted to show our support for their thoughtful approach. Not in the middle of the tourist area (which we liked) and nice little place to sit. Good range of pizzas all at the same price point as the other places in town - definitely worth a visit.

Had a lovely meal to celebrate finishing TMB with friends. Looked after by Sonia with excellent food and wine suggestions. Thin crust pizza were delicious and finished with Cheese plate and Tiramisu. Will be back and would recommend.

Wonderful corner in the Mont-Blanc Valley where you can find organic food, homemade dishes and a peaceful, cozy atmosphere. At l'Impossible, cooking is an act of love! All our ingredients are fresh and seasonal.
Very nice ambiance inside a timber frame building with beautiful chandeliers. Quality of the food was mixed. We started with a plate of prosciutto and salami that was quite nice. I had ravioli as my second course, it had a really interesting filling, and with the sauce it was delicious. My entree was the pork fillet that was presented in a gorgonzola sauce; the pork melted in my mouth and the sauce was rich and flavorful. My partner had the stuffed calamari as her entree and was disappointed with the way it was undercooked and how it tasted (the filling flavors didnât go together). The service started out great but as the evening went on we were ignored. We practically had to tackle the server to get our bill and pay it. This has been a common complaint of ours about restaurant service in Switzerland and France. Once your food and beverages are ordered, the server delivers them and youâre left completely alone....very rarely checking back to see how your food is or if you want to order something else. They also pour your first glass of water and/or wine and then you are on your own.

There were three of us for lunch and we also had dinner reservations so decided to share a pizza and salad. Great decision as the pizzas are quite large! The salad was very fresh and the pizza with spicy pepperoni was delicious. Probably the best pizza and crust ever.
