Here you will find a little piece of paradise that's perfect for relaxation: family atmosphere, cosy setting, large scultpeted wood lounge. A favourite spot for locals, the restaurant served delicious and refined cuisine with a spectacular view of the fam
My husband and I started and ended our 12 day 'tour du Mont Blanc' trek at this hotel, and we couldn't be happier about our stay. It's a place I will remember forever- it's right beneath Mont Blanc, with an outside garden/restaurant area where we had breakfast every morning and a very nice lunch. The staff are incredibly nice, the breakfasts had an amazing variety of cheeses, pastries, croissants of course, and fresh fruits & yogurts, and a delicious variety of breads. Best part was the view and all the flowers, I could sit there for hours! The hotel itself is very nice, and feels family run. Can't wait to go back.

Spécialités savoyardes
Visited for lunch whilst skiing. Perfect location near the Bellevue ski lift. Great service, friendly staff, delicious and generous food. We had Croute and Tartiflette which were both very generous sizes with a huge fresh salad on the side. Excellent food and drink at a great price in a good location with friendly staff, what more could you need?! Must try!

After a late lunch we decided a pizza would be good for the evening meal, especially as this restaurant was across the road from our hotel. Great pizza, nice staff, nice ambience. Another good night!

This cafe is near the blue runs. Lucky for us this is were we met a friend for lunch with his instructor. Prices are very good 4 euro for hot vino... service from the bar staff outside was fab. Also sat inside on a colder day and service was good. Will definitely visit here when in Les Houches again.

Vin Chaud 12 euro each . It didn't taste any better than ones we had at 3.50 euros. So if you want to burn your cash, here is the place to come. From looking at the menu 2 course and a drink for 4 people will set you back 200 euros. I am sure it does taste nice. It's far more expensive than eating on the slopes in Val D'Isere.Dear MrandMrs Poynton, We are very sorry if that is the impression that our establishment has given you. The vin chaud is served in a quarter litre glass and cost 6 euros each and not 12 euros each. It is fully home made (including making up our own daily mix of spices in the spice ball) and simmers on the wood fire. The maximum price for a main meal is 20 euros and a dessert 10 euros. All our dishes are home cooked from the base product on the premises, with table service. For 1 vin chaud, 1 main (the most expensive!) & a dessert, it will set you back a maximum of 36 euros per person. Of course the total bill would increase accordingly to the number of diners. If you are 4, the total would be 144 euros and not 200 euros. We regret that you could not find what many people find in our charming mountain cabin and acknowledge the effort that we and our team put in to provide good atmosphere and genuine homemade food (and vin chaud), when many restaurants on the mountain use premade and frozen industrial products. Kind Regards, Mr & Mrs Battendier

the restaurant is open every night at 18.30 We serve typical french food and savoyard food like fondue and tartiflette
We had a family supper here enjoying well priced local wine and some nice food. We had excellent starters and my daughter and husband seemed to enjoy their fondue and I had a nice chicken dish with good flavours, the only teeny criticism being that it was just a smidge over cooked. Our server was very friendly and helpful even though he had 4 tables in all at the same time and was trying to juggle all of us and there was a big party of 16 there also putting in their order. The kitchen, which can't have been very big still managed to cope. Very relaxed and nice place to wile away an evening.

As this TripAdvisor account is for the family, we enter this top recommendation on behalf of my 8 year old daughter. She was on a ski weekend with a friend and her parents and had lunch here. She had the "plat du jours" which was the most delicious Boeuf bourguignon she has ever had - "the meat melted in her mouth"...She recommends the crumble for dessert, but she also noticed that you should reserve one when you arrive as they are quickly sold out!!She likes and enjoy food, but rare is it that she to this extent remembers and talks about a meal. Well done! We - the rest of the family - will certainly go as well. Finally, remember to bring cash as they don't take cards! Apparently our friends had forgotten -they were allowed to do a bank transfer.

This Wine Bar, cozy and welcoming atmosphere, at the foothills of the Mont Blanc offers you a large variety of glass of wine (only by wine-maker), craft beers, Hugo Spritz and Aperol, homemade lemonade, tea time (Damman); it also offers cooked meat and ch
We found this wine bar open on Easter Sunday and we are so glad that we did! The owner welcomed us and our two french bulldogs to a quiet space. We had two different apero plates with local beers from a microbrewery before switching to wine. There was a nice selection of wines and it was a relaxing environment - away from the touristy spots in the city. We were able to relax with the dogs while enjoying local meats, cheeses, beer and wine.We will definitely be back (and probably more than once!) on our next trip!Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are glad that you have had a good time with us and that you enjoyed the selection of wines as well as local and Italian specialty slates. I will not fail to share with the artisans of the microbrewery, that you particularly appreciated the quality and balance of their beer. Looking forward to welcoming you again.

Nestled in a picturesque village of Haute Savoie you will not miss this former coaching inn from 1885, ornate and decorated in a Savoyard style face Diosaz Gorges and 10 minutes to Chamonix with its view of the Massif Mont Blanc. Whether you come alone, i
I reserved here based on TripAdvisor reviews and wasnât disappointed. We opted for à la carte as we werenât that hungry though there are fixed price menus for around 36 and 48 euros. We ate outside with a view of Mont Blanc and ordered the chicken with tagliatelle and beef filet with a potato millefeuille, both tender and very flavorful. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake and the citrus mousse - the latter was a bit too sweet in our opinion. The owners of the hotel/restaurant were incredibly courteous and helpful. The only slight inconvenience is that they do not speak great English and the menu is in French (but we speak a bit of French so we got by just fine). We will definitely be coming back again as the surroundings are beautiful and the location is strategic for either hiking, skiing or visiting other nearby places like Chamonix or Annecy.

Une vue imprenable sur le Mont Blanc et une cuisine entièrement faite Maison. Spécialités savoyards
This excellent place was recommended to us by the receptionist at our hotel. Set in a quiet spot in the pretty town of Combloux it has a magnificent vista of mountains from its terrace including Mont Blanc which revealed itself as we dined. It is next to a bio ecological swimming lake which gives the impression of being a green lake. The food is not the cheapest but it is of good quality and a bit different with oriental tendencies. We had farm chicken breast pieces in a bowl with soy and chilli rice, courgettes, cooked onions, fennel. It was a very tasty salad but did cost 23 â¬. Also on the menu was a burger, tuna, boiled cod with ratatouille and seafood linguine. All around â¬20 or more. Desserts were â¬9 which seemed steep but my red fruit with cream and ice cream was good as was my wifeâs lemon tart. The owner was in close attendance and the single waitress was friendly and helpful speaking reasonable English. The place was doing good business for a Tuesday evening. Our bill including glass of wine, beer and two coffees was â¬76 incl service which was a reasonable price to pay for pleasant food in a fabulous location.
