Traditional Austrian style and decor, with all the charm and elegance. The hotel is a 5 Star Superior offering a plethora of incredible amenities. We opted for the half board option which mean't a fabulous breakfast and a wonderful dinner offering traditional dishes, non traditional western dishes as well as a vegetarian option.I can't say enough about the staff, Annemarie and her team were warm, attentive, and very professional, we were really treated incredibly at every turn by the staff. The owner an elegant elderly woman also met us personally and visited with us during our dinners to ensure our satisfaction.The rooms are huge, well appointed, and very comfortable with very large bathrooms and all the amenities one could hope for.Zell am See itself is a quaint village with a very typical Austrian feel and elegance. The highlight is obviously the skiing which is world class, offering great options for beginners all the way to very advanced skiers. There is also a decent sized lake which would allow for great summer water sports and more.

Just a few metres from the centre of Saalbach and right next to the valley station of the Bernkogelbahn. And ideal spot for a ski-break, Après Ski and dinner in the evening. In the "Soul House" we just love good music. In the afternoon we are celebrating

Had a great lunch followed by a few beers and the some live music. Itâs a good place but maybe lacks a bit of staff cohesion between the various areas. Food is very good but maybe needs just a little bit of visible management. Dear John, thank you very much for your feedback to your visit at Soul House. Good Italian restaurant (missclasdified as pizzeria in TripAdvisor.)We enjoyed a very good dinner having Carpaccio for starter, (medium rare) steak with butter herb source and Irish Coffee for dinner. All were professionally prepared and perfect in addition to very friendly service and pleasant atmosphere! We were able ti get a table without a reservation by arriving already after 6 PM. Table reservation recommended.The phone number given by the TripAdviser app does not, however, work. The restaurant adviced to use there own net page instead for getting correct contact information to make a table reservationHope that TripAvisor is able to sort out the errors in the classification of the restaurant and the contact information asap!

The main reason for the 2 stars isnât the food, which is decent, but it is the fact that they allow people to smoke inside at the bar, which is quite close to the dining area. I think that is absolutely disgusting and had I known before coming in, I would not have come to begin with. Especially since there arenât enough servers so it took forever for dinner to come and for us to attract the attention of the server to order desert. The food is ok, the schnitzel was a bit too greasy for my liking and the fries werenât very crispy. All in all an ok meal but unfortunately as long as smoking inside is allowed thereâs no way Iâll be back

We were drawn in by the different menu and were not disappointed. What a fantastic menu, so different from many others and so imaginative, using fresh, local ingredients. The tomato essence was amazing and the mains, steak and prawns, cooked to perfection. The desserts were unusual but utterly fanatastic. An excellent selection of aperitifs, wines and beers accompanied the meal which was topped off by outstanding service from a young, knowledgable and passionate staff. This restaurant is a little out of town on Schmittenstasse but do make the effort, you wonât be disappointed.

We were seated at the terrace outdoors that was cosy. Had the salmon pasta that was good. My wife was very pleased with the chicken and potato dish she had. Great icecream dessert to finish it off. Service very attentive and friendly. A very recommendable place.

This hotel is average in terms of food quality, quality of room & service. Hotel & room size are compact. Overall, cleanliness is average. Restaurant has very few items for vegetarians. Staff is polite. Only advantage is that it is very close to the lake.

We found the restaurant following TripAdvisor reviews and we chose to eat here. We were 2 couples and we made each other different food choices and everything was delicious! Thanks for the delicious dinner and for the warm and professional service!
