Best bacon dumplings (speck knodel) I had in Austria! Surprisingly low-priced with no competition on the mountain.Great farmers (smoked) sausage also!Great play areas for children to entertain themselves and burn-off energy.

Weâve been coming to this beautiful region of the Tyrol for over 20 years and this lovely traditional Austrian gasthof with its wonderful display of flowers is one of our favourite places to eat and drink. We always check into our hotel in Holzleiten and the first thing we do (ruhetag â rest day or day off permitting) is walk the lovely scenic and peaceful route to Auslandhof for late lunch. The ruhetag day(s) are always sign posted well advance so as to avoid disappointment. This time we sat outside in the lovely sunshine looking out at the amazing views. We had two Austrian beers and ordered bratwurst, sauerkraut, mustard, grated horseradish and bread. A perfect combination. The food is always delicious and the service is friendly and professional. We love this place and canât wait to come back here again. Highly recommend it.Dear Roy and Jeannette,thank you very much for your great review! We are happy the lamb Bratwurst from our own farm tasted well and you could enjoy the panoramic scenery from our terrace. After a climb next to the waterfall we had lunch here.It was very tasty and also quite affordable! The waiters were friendly but seemed quite unorganized.Also, please be more generous with the lemon next time. I could not squeeze a single drop out of it :p

Come for a few drinks, live music, bell ringing and singing. We only discovered this place on our last day, it is perfect to access from the slopes or main road through Kuhtai. Great choice of food and drinks and lots of space to sit outside in the sun and a 360o view of the slopes.

Wij komen hier enkel in de winter. Soms is het hier gezellig druk maar vandaag was het supergezellig kalm. Geen gevoel van "snelle hap en snel weg" maar van "tof dat je hier bent". Een leuke plek trouwens, gezellig warm. Een vriendelijke dienster. Betaalbaar.

After 21:00 only pizza is served. Pizza is nice. But was served in plates smaller than the pizza and pizza is served without being sliced. The waitress was very unhelpful to us and refused to serve us desserts telling us that the kitchen is closed, while 1 minute before, desserts had been served to another table. Maybe another time...

Slightly off the main thoroughfare and still quite busy, which is often a good sign. The clear soup with pancake was fine but smaller than many; the garlic cream soup was very nice and is seriously creamy.The fitness salad was a little basic and the Tirolean potato / beef / bacon dish with an egg on top had a lot of oil / grease which meant it was heavy going.The service was good, but the food was a disappointment overall.
