Things to do in Dornbirn
Typical fast food restaurant that serves Döner and Pizza. Cannot say if the staff is friendly as a typicall order is limited to some words. But most important prices and taste are OK. Sometimes when its croweded they serve to quick and your Döner isn't warmed up enough.

This pizzeria is located about 2 blocks from trhe main train station. This place has some class. There are table cloths, a polite server and good Italian food. We tried the pizza Siciliana and the spaghetti bolognese and we were satisfied. The pizza is of the thin crust variety. We wsashed it down with some house wine, valpolicella and chianti, again very pleasant but not outstanding. This is the restaurant of choice in The Dornbirn train station quarter, way ahead of "Mittelmehr" or the smoky "sports bar".

I was here alone for lunch on a nice sunny Saturday. I sat outside on the terrace, ordered a pizza and a glass of red wine. The service was fast and the stuff friendly. Pizza was good, generous ingredients and delicious dough. I recommend this restaurant of you are looking for Italian food.

We had the simplest pizzas: mushrooms and 4 cheeses. We couldnât decide which one was better (thatâs easy, mine was better, but donât tell my husband, heâs fragile). It was probably one of the best pizzas we ever had (maybe besides the ones in Italy). The staff are all a bunch of ecstatic Italians yelling orders across the restaurant, and although the place was packed we still got our food fast. Prices are really low (10,5 euro for enormous pizza), and there is parking right next to the restaurant. Awesome.

We tried spaghetti, we liked it. Desserts are fresh and tasty. Service very friendly. They have a smoking and non-smoking section, well separated but unfortunatelly one has to pass through the smokers to go to the toilet. Not at all overpriced.

This is a must try restaurant and is why booking is advisable. Inside can be a little cramped when full but still worth it. The food is truly delicious and there are plenty of options for all foodies. The fish and meat dishes (I've tried many) are presented well and taste great. Good service from the team of enthusiastic waiters makes this restaurant one of the nicest in Dornbirn.

Many good restaurants in Vorarlberg. Der Verwalter was no exception on a sunny summer evening. Seating inside and outside - on a not so impressive terrace - may be more spectacular elsewhere. A warm welcome by friendly, attentive and skilled staff more than made up for it. My company not being very hungry, we ordered a goat cheese salad (very good) and the summer tapas menue, that was a much better deal with the same ingredients, compared to the full menue, according to the waitress. Right she was. 3 very fine starters, 3 small mains and 3 desserts, all 9 delicious. Add an exquisite and still affordable recommended grüner Veltliner. The "dolorosa" (tab) did not lower our spirits. We will definitely be back.

Being a true "Dornbirner", I eat here often, alway enjoy this place and can recommend it highly to everyone. The cuisine is mediterranean, I´d say the dishes are mostly Italian inspired, because of the owners Italian roots, but sometimes the established Austrian side appears in the menu, as for the traditional Gulasch, the day before christmas. No Pizza on the menu, but you can get Pizza around the corner at the Dönerstand ;) Who needs Pizza anyway, when you can have real Italian food like Cozze e Vongule, Saltimbocca, Piccata Milanese, Pasta in all forms etcetera etcetera.... The menu varies and never gets boring. For lunch they prepare good value meals, combining a salad as starter and a main plate for ⬠9,- as I have in mind. Occasionally in the warm summer month, they host events outside with live music, a BBQ and an "all-you-can-eat buffet"... really a hint and you should make a reservation in advance.Gabriel runs this place in a familiar style, always in the mood for a joke and chat with his guests. I guess in Italy you could call this place a Trattoria and that´s fantastic!
