Welcome to M. Mediterranean pleasure right next to lake Wolfgang. A NATURAL CUISINE For us our kitchen is passion in a palpable form. Passion for the good and honest things taken from nature. We want to unite these things in our dishes and cast a spell ov
The only negative experience of an otherwise great holiday in Austria. Waitress was not chosen for her intelligence; informed me " the pizzas used to be much bigger" !, brought a glass of white wine when I ordered red, brought my seafood pizza with what looked like catfood on it ( it wasn't - it was tuna, but you know that cheap, flaky, mushy stuff ? ), forgot the order completely when I ordered a second ( small ) carafe, and then the bill was such that I actually thought she had overcharged me by 10 euros. She hadn't - the place just charges about 20% more than most other restaurants. In contrast, Pension Rosam, about 2 minutes walk away from this place the following night, gave excellent service, delicious food, a decent red house wine, and was cheaper. I'm sure the owner of Bar Mediterranea will become a millionaire, but not at my expense.Dear guest, all our guests are important for us and we are always thankful for critics. We are sorry that you had a bad experience at our place and the service didn't meet your expectations. We would have been happy if you had asked for me directly - so that we could have found a solution on the spot. We are a Restaurant which values and strengths are excellent quality (homemade pizzas, fresh ingredients, regional products), high quality wine and good service. Our Price Performance Ratio is more than fair compared to equal restaurants in our region. If I would ever become a milionair, I would still be pleased and happy to take care of all my guests as it is my passion.Nice greetings from St. Gilgen

We stopped in on a Saturday night after exploring the area all day. We didn't have a reservation but were seated promptly anyway. We ordered two pizzas, one vegetarian and the other a margherita. Both were delicious. My husband talked about how good the pizza was here for the rest of our trip to Austria! The only small glitch was that a salad we ordered never arrived at our table, but they removed it from the bill so it's all good.

The restaurant is centrally located and it was obvious that the waiter was having difficulty communicating. Meal of pepper steak was mediocre with sloppy and very over cooked Idaho potato swimming in a pink sauce. Meat rare and bloody. Extreme stomach upset afterwards - would suggest checking out the many restaurants nearby. Give this a miss.

I was here was my wife and chose Gustaria because we liked the red and white decor, which looked pretty, and it was in a good location. We had an anti-pasta sharing platter for â¬28 and we could choose from the cheeses and cooked meats on display inside. We gave the lady freedom to choose for us only stipulating that we didn't want olives or capers. We were served with a good choice of cheeses, salamis and prosciutto ham with fresh bread. It was all excellent and the accompanying wine and beer we ordered was not overpriced.
I dined here this summer while on vacation in the Salzkammergut. I would call this place a hidden gem for tourists. My girlfriend and I shared a wonderful salad to start and we each ordered a pasta dish. I ordered the Tortellini Bolognese and it was one of the best Bolognese sauces I have ever eaten. On top of that, my dish was only 8 Euro, which is definitely an awesome deal. We came with our 4 month old baby and I would say this is a very baby friendly place. Anyway, if you are ever in Strobl and are looking for a very good meal, good service, and at a reasonable price, I would definitely recommend this place!!
We had breakfast 3 days in a raw here, and it was just great. Very good food, diverse, beautifuly presented, big portions. The second day, when we had already reserved the table, we found it already prepared for us in the morning, also with a small nice chocolate bar on each napkin. Our little boy was so thrilled. The staff was very nice, thank you for the warm atmosphere and hospitality. Very reccomended. Many thanks for the great rating !!! :-)
