Had lunch here with my husband who was skiing up here. There is a large terrace outside with music playing and a good atmosphere. We sat inside. There was a great choice of food and drinks. The staff were very organised and everything was in order. It is huge inside and there are T.V.s around with skiing and sport to watch. The food was tasty and the portions were massive. The views are stunning from the top too. Recommend eating here.Servus Tilly,thank you for the nice feedback. We are looking forward to welcome you again in Montafon.

This is the place ! We took our children (10 and 11 year old) and had the most amazing dinner !! Fantastic atmosphere, unassailable ambiance and food to die for! We had beetroot and absinthe salmon for starters followed by the duo of venison with stunning local red wine and can very highly recommend this jewel of a chalet.... planning New Years 2019 there and will be booking ASAP ! We used to go very frequently to this restaurant when it was run by Chef Armin Amrein. In those days, it was an amazing experience. Unfortunately, since last year, the chef at Walserhof changed.We went for lunch some days ago. To start with, we were given no amuse-bouche (only plain bread and butter. For a Michelin star restaurant?!). Our appetizer (castagne soup) was pipping hot, not something you serve to a client and impossible to drink for a while. Our main courses were: their gourmet burger (which came with the meat quite raw and looked uninviting) and, for me, mushroom risotto with venison. Although I asked for well cooked venison, no only it arrived bloody but was incredibly hard to eat. The risotto was watery and had little taste. When we pointed out both our dishes were too raw, they took them back and they bought new dishes (as it should be done). But the taste of the new dish was very bland anyway. I left without finishing my main course. Maybe they had a very bad kitchen-day that day, but it will be a while before we go back.

Prachtig nieuw restaurant , mooie inrichting , heerlijk eten voor prima prijs. Bediening fijn . Aan de buitenkant zie je niet hoe mooi het van binnen is. Wat mij betreft heel welkom in Gaschurn want zo veel zit er niet . Meteen naast de gondel . Veel heerlijke wijnen en borrelhappen . Een aanrader !!

In the midst of so many 5-star reviews, I am clearly a dissenting voice. The quality of the drinks and food is good, bit I find the concept annoying. All drinks and food are ordered and paid for at a central point (which often causes congestion at busy times) and is then brought to your table. However, everything appears at different times to the extent that often one person has finished their drink before the rest of the group's order arrives. Over the Christmas period, I felt that the bar area of the old Mountain Lounge Klatsch resembled a children's creche with crying kids roaming around and disgruntled staff running the gauntlet of unsupervised kids when bring orders to tables. Once people are settled at their table it is very hard to move them on. Staff can't come round and ask if people want to order something further as they are unable to take an order at the table and people tend to sit around for some time without any food or drink. Seems a poor business model to me.I would like to see the bar area function as a real bar, at least in the late afternoon and also find the early closing time absolutely ridiculous. Klosters has few bars and closing a bar at 6.00 pm makes no sense to me at all.
