Good selection of foods including game and fish. I had venison with red cabbage. The venison was very tender and well cooked - a great choice. Although meat orientated, fish and veggie options were available. Service was more formal rather than friendly but made good suggestions on wine choice. I would eat here again.

Gave this place a great review last time we came and to be honest it's difficult to fault the food but going out for dinner is more than simply eating. It's about the welcome the experience the service the atmosphere and to be honest all of these were lacking. We arrived at 8pm ordered by 8.10pm and had our meal delivered to us less than 5 minutes later - weird! Service was very brusque and it felt more like school dinners than a restaurant. However the ribs pork and beef were lovely and the only comment was they could have been hotter. Having eaten by 8.45pm it then took nearly 30 minutes to get the bill which seemed ironic given the initial speed of service. Disappointing experience and wouldn't rush back again.
