Stopped here after a days cycling, sat outside in the sun. The outside seats are next to a stream which makes for a relaxing stop.The coffee was superb and the beer was good. First the cafe were reserving couches for no one and didn't let us sit. When a foreign couple came she gave them the seats. She was racist toward Arabs. We came from UAE and her service was with attitude with us. We ordered from her cafe and when my brother came with a coffee from outside she got angry and rude. العاملة في المطعم عنصرية اتجاه العرب ومعاملتها سيئة. كنا محترمين معاها ولكن عاملتنا بوقاحة كنا نريد أن نجلس على كراسي مريحه.رفضت وقالت محجوزة. وعند قدوم اجانب اثنين جلسوا عليها ولم تقول لهم شي.لا انصح فيه

Wir Fuhren mit der Gondelbahn auf den Gipfel der Schmittenhöhe mit Angeschlossenem Café. Die Aussicht und die Wandermöglichkeiten sind Top, was man vom Café zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht gerade Behaupten kann. Einige der bereits Abgeräumten Tische waren noch Schmutzig und teilweise Klebrig. Als wir einen Sauberen Tisch gefunden hatten dauerte es ein pasr Minuten bis die Serviererin kam um unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen. Die Speisekarte ist recht klein gehalten und viel Auswahl gibt es nicht. Ich wollte einen Bananensplit Essen,jedoch gab es kein Bananen und auch kein Vanilleeis mehr. Daher Entschied ich mich für ein Gemischtes Eis mit dem was noch da ist. Auf die Frage ob mit Sahne antwortete ich mit ja, was die Serviererin scheinbar als Nein Verstand. Jedenfalls kam das Eis ohne Sahne. Meine Mutter bestellte sich den Kaiserschmarrn. Nach dem Essen dauerte es noch mal einige Zeit bis jemand zum Bezahlen kam. Danach nahmen wir die nächste Gondel zurück ins Tal. Alles in allem war mein Eindruck vom Schmitten Cafe nur Mittelmäßig.
