We ate and drunk here during skiing. The place is familiar and special with the old style kitchen. The waiters were very kind and helpful. The foods were really delicious and home made style.

I visited Friesacherhof during the 'Wildwochen' (Wild/Game Week) with my wife. We both chose from the Wild/Game menu. I have to say that the Beef soup with liver dumplings was utterly delicious. I had the Hirsch medallions (Venison Medallions) for my main and again, the food was excellent.What is excellent about the Friesacherhof is the panorama view you have from the restaurant. When the weather is good, you can sit outside on the patio and on cooler evenings or winter, the restaurant has all-round windows. The view of the Koralpe is stunning and also of the Lavanttal valley and Wolfsberg far in the distance.Both my wife and I really enjoyed Friesacherhof and we will definitely return.

Nicely placed along the highway it's very convenient along the journey. There is a broad parking lot and many seats. There is a buffet as well as a nice menu with many different dishes. Waiters are very kind and quick.
