As a regular visitor to Bregenz I tried this new restaurant with my friends. At first, we had high expectations with the nice interior but it went downhill from there. The waiter had limited knowledge of the menu, the portions are very small and highly priced compared to other restaurants in Bregenz. We ordered a bottle of wine and the wine was put in a wine cooler near to our table but the waiter didnât get the wine to top up our glasses. After finishing our meal, we were not offered a desert menu, coffee or the bill. We struggled to get the attention of the staff despite them not being particularly busy.

With more than one hundred years of history, they are open the whole day serving delicious home made pastries, cakes, bread and all kinds of sandwiches, buns and rolls. Excellent choice of teas and coffee, welcoming and friendly service, really lovely place to pop in any time of the day.
