We twice visited this place for diner and we were very satisfied with both food and service. Starting with the winelist, there are several good, local wines available as wel as more special and expensive ones. Enough to choose from. The menu is as you expect in a Pizzeria very Italian, all famous italian dishes are served. We had starters: carpaccio, proscuito/melon, beeftartar, mozzarella caprese and everything was very tastfull. Carpaccio we would recommend the owner to serve fresh one instead of defrozen; this is wat you have from the supermarket and in a restaurant you expect just a little bit more than that. Main dishes were also nice, pizza, spaghetti very tastfull. We have a tip from a satisfied customer: if your own family is in the restaurant, make sure you have your attention for service to the guests instead of giving your children a nice time....... Next time we will be back!!!

We hiked in, and would recommend this: but you can, I suppose, drive up the gravel track if you prefer.Fairly remote, with wonderful views from a sunny terrace overlooking the Horberg. Good range of drinks, and better wifi than at home in London. Highly recommended.
Seen this from the Ahorn lift and decided to try it as looked attractive setting and away from the roads/ traffic. Ended up visiting a few times for coffees but food and beer etc looked ok .Great to sit outside in the sun, good service .Worth deviating off the main Road for, situated very near to /under the lift just off the car park.

Came here in September but know we will be back in December now that the Penkenbahn is open (wasn't when we went last December). Only have enough euros on us for something cheap, had banana milkshake and banana split. Both were fine. Staff were nice.

Theres a couple of good Apres bars in FinkenbergFinkennest is dark and loud and serves the usual mix of high octane drinks at happy hour pricesWe liked it because we could take our kids in for the first couple of hours after skiing (the place stays open till 4am - dont think we'd be in there with them then!)They serve Pizzas and Pretzel sticks by the bucket load and offer both bar and table service - although this can be slow when busy

Laterndl pub is ideally located right next to Finkenberg LiftI opens at 3pm and, believe it or not, is open for 12 hoursIt is busy, noisy and lively from about 4pm and is full of a mix of young and "older" ones - like meI popped in a couple of times during a week long skiing trip to the Zillertal areaIve got to say, its not ideally suited for taking kids in for Apres - we found the Finkennest (100 metres down the hill) to be a bit more chilled out - but then again Apres isnt about chilling out!The Lanterndl has waiter service - which was a bit hit and miss to be honest and serve things like Pizza at 6 euros a slice (big)They also run a mini bus service I noticed (to drop you back off at your hotel) - given we had kids in tow I didnt use it!

Tyrolean culinary art Essentials such as jus, stock, and noodles are prepared with great care at the Finkenbergerhof, and the innovative sous-vide method provides vitamin-rich taste experiences. Whether our delicious half-board or in our inviting à la car
We went here during pre-season, when only 1 or 2 restaurants were open in the area. We were the only customers. But the waiter was really nice and accommodating. We ordered the Pute Innsbrucker (turkey stuffed with cheese and served with mixed vegetables and rösti-fried potato cakes) and the Schweinsteak Landpfanne (pork with green beans wrapped with bacon and roasted potatoes). It was tasty but very salty and a little dry. The cook came out and chatted at the bar with another customer...it was an overall awkward situation being the only dinner customers. But again, they were attentive. If you like large pieces of meat and a few potatoes, this is a good place to go.

Went here as a group of four persons, the burger was cheap but really not worth choosing as it was below mediocre.. The shrimppasta was also very tasteless.. On the plusside they had live music that was really enjoyable and all in all we had a nice evening there. If you go here I would recommend choosing a steak as it's probably what they are best at making :)

Best apresski in town; great ambiance. Drinks are reasonably priced, and itâs not too far a walk from the Penkenbahn.
