This lake is about a 90 minute walk from Seefeld through the forest, or a short drive. Parking is free although limited in space. Favoured by locals it is a large lake set amongst the mountains. Ideal for swimming or just relaxing amongst beautiful scenery. Many families bring inflatables to use on the lake and have favourite picnic spots. There is a cafe/restaurant at the waters edge selling reasonably priced food and drink. A beautiful setting.

For a restaurant so high up the food was reasonably priced. There was a wide variety of cafeteria style food listed on the menu and the service was fast and friendly. We had an Austrian dish which was awesome. Although it's a trifle more costly than those cafes and restaurants located down below in Seefeld we felt the price was reasonable for the location

Visited this restaurant several times.Like this place very much, surely when the sun is shining and you can spend your time looking at all the busy skiing on the piste next to the restaurant (you can stop also for a drink).Very friendly waiters, good food at a decent price. One of my favourite places to stop-over when I'am spend my holiday in winter in Seefeld.

Came here one evening for food during our stay in Mosern and wasn't disappointed. Food was very good and not too pricey. Went for the Men's Burger which was in fact not a burger at all but a large pulled pork sandwich which came with sweet potato fries and was delicious. Staff were really friendly and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice. Large beers were â¬4.50 which again was pretty reasonable for the area.Dear Madam and Sir,we thank you very much for your visit and comment posted on tripadvisor. We are very happy that you have found our food offer and service excellent and we were able to measure up to your expectations. Hopefully we could welcoming you again during one of your visit of our area and send kind regards, Daniela Heidkamp & the team of the Neunerwirt

We popped in here several times while we were on holiday in Seefeld. There always seemed to be a nice table free and big enough for the 6 of us and although the service was not particularly friendly, the drinks and menu suited us. We mainly had drinks, but we did try the shredded pancakes with both the plum and apple sauce, chips, pizza and goulash soup. All of which were very good and not too dear.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Larchenhof, and this restaurant was on the property walking distance up the hill... Its like dining in a rustic Austrian farmhouse with delicious food, and a warm atmosphere.. The staff are attentive and gracious.. The pork schnitzel, and the young venison were so good and satisfying.. Mouth watering... Paired with a glass of Austrian red wine, and you will be insured of a cozy dining experience

Arrive in style with a horse carriage. About 30-45 min. away (by hourse) from downtown Seefeld this place is a hidden gem. Traditional Tyrolean food very well interpreted- even at their last day before going into spring break (end of winter season). We will definitely come back during summer. Congratulations.

New Grill & Steakhouse Restaurant, with fresh homemade beer - directly in the center of the pedestrian zone of Seefeld (in basement of Hotel Klosterbräu & SPA). Lunch and dinner will be served from 12:00 to 10:00 PM, Opening hours daily from 12:00 - 11:00
Gave this place a great review last time we came and to be honest it's difficult to fault the food but going out for dinner is more than simply eating. It's about the welcome the experience the service the atmosphere and to be honest all of these were lacking. We arrived at 8pm ordered by 8.10pm and had our meal delivered to us less than 5 minutes later - weird! Service was very brusque and it felt more like school dinners than a restaurant. However the ribs pork and beef were lovely and the only comment was they could have been hotter. Having eaten by 8.45pm it then took nearly 30 minutes to get the bill which seemed ironic given the initial speed of service. Disappointing experience and wouldn't rush back again.

I have just come back from Meilerhof after having dinner there and feel the need to report back to prevent others from being disappointed. My wife and I are staying in Reith Bei Seefeld and there isn't an awful lot of choice of restaurants so we thought we'd give it a try as we both like a good steak which this place specialises in.I looked at the menu a few days before as I was passing and it looked good with a decent choice of steaks etc but I don't speak German so couldn't work out the nitty gritty but at 26 Euro + plus for a steak I expected it to be something special.First impressions are OK, it was too cold for the terrace but we had a good window seat with a view. Our order was taken quickly but while my wife's water came promptly, we had to remind them about my beer, first time that's ever happened in Austria/Germany!When I read the English menu I realised it said the steaks came with baked potato, thinking this had to be more interesting that it sounded maybe due to translation, I didn't think much of it but lo and behold, there on the plate was a huge baked potato wrapped in foil with cream cheese inside just like I'd make if I couldn't be bothered to cook a proper meal at home (although for some reason there was a spoon stuck in it to make it look more glamorous - it failed). The salad selection was pitiful, normally even in a supermarket there is so much choice that the bowl is too small but here I struggled to half fill it with things I like (and I love salad!).My wife enjoyed her fillet steak while my rum steak was a bloodier than I'd have liked for a medium but I couldn't be bothered to argue, after all this might be the perfect Austria medium steak for all I know not being local.I was tempted by the chocolate mousse but decided not to bother after all.To add insult to injury we were also charged 1.80 Euro each Gedeck (cover charge) to make the total 63.10 Euro for just 2 mains and 2 drinks.Last week we went to Gasthof Hirschen down the road in Leithen, it doesn't have a panorama terrace but from our experience the food is far better and ultimately that's what counts.Dear Andrew, thank you for your comment. We honestly regret that you were not satisfied at your last visit in our house, but we appreciate your feedback, which helps us to improve our services. For us it is important to learn about any inconveniences our estimated guests may be confronted with. So, should you, in a further visit, find anything unpleasant again, please let us know right then, so that we can try immediately to avoid any disappointment and make your visit pleasant and joyful.Kind greetings from the Meilerhof Team and hoping tp see you back soon
