Loved this, not a bit ostentatious or a place to impress with its looks, but very good value and excellent food. Very friendly and welcoming, and we were given a free schnapps each and asked to come back next time. Will for sure.

On a wet morning walking down the Stillip valley we were very pleased to see the Stillupperhaus- farm and very traditional style building with a lovely drinks and food menu. We chose (predictably) coffee and cake- a huge piece of sponge, cream and lemon topping arrived that we shared- absolutely delicious and highly recommended. As an added bonus, the menâs toilets were spotless.

Stopped for drinks on the terrace of the Berggasthaus Steinerkogl . The views were amazing as the terrace overlooked the valley and surrounding area. The service was excellent and very friendly, the restaurant was spotlessly clean. The food looked and smelt wonderful but on this occasion we had just finished a packed lunch earlier. We would like to return on our next visit to Mayrhofen to sample the food.

Because this is on a black run, it's not overrun by skiers and is therefore a very civilised place to eat. No problem getting a table and the staff are lovely. Very friendly, efficient and helpful. The food is delicious very reasonably priced. Particularly good is the traditional Austrian grostli and as for their home made puddings - unmissable! We sampled both the strudel and the cheesecake and both were truly yummy. Don't miss it.

Came here in September but know we will be back in December now that the Penkenbahn is open (wasn't when we went last December). Only have enough euros on us for something cheap, had banana milkshake and banana split. Both were fine. Staff were nice.

This is an usual restaurant perched on the cliff face above the Zillergrund dam. There are two ways in - via the open lattice metal stairway which is clipped onto the rock face (perhaps not for the faint hearted) or via the roadway which runs up from the top of the Zillergrund dam and round to the rear of the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is quite 'Harry Potterish', it could be straight from Diagon Alley. The staff are friendly, the service is quick, the portions ample and tasty. Well worth a visit, even if it takes an hour by bus (the 8328 service from Mayrhofen station (bahnhof)).

This place is wonderful. A little more expensive than others but well worth it. It was near Michelin star quality. If you reserve a table with a small deposit you receive a nice little appetiser. We went twice it was so good. Can highly recommend the linguine, burger and fillet steak! Nice fine wines especially if you have a few thousand euros to spare, although some very reasonably priced ones too. Canât wait to go again. Highly recommended.Thank you very much Lisa, we really appreciate your words. Best Regards from the whole Team and the Family.

We decided to call in after noticing a Queue the day before. It was well worth the visit, the Tyrol Grostl was amazing. We had Ribs and a very large ham roll We then had lunch here the following 4 days. It gets a bit crowded but so efficient you don't wait that long
