I've been here before. I gave it five stars before. I'll be coming here again.It's probably my favourite mountain restaurant in an area that has lots of nice mountain huts. Espresso and Hagebuttentee. Rosehip to you. Not the best espresso, but this is Austria, not Italy. Service was good. We came back a few hours later for lunch. Ribs, BBQ sauce, potato salad. I could have had a baked potato or chips. My partner had Wienerschitzel with chips, so I stole some of hers. Plate piled high, and all good

Our hotel recommended this place and they were spot-on! The portion sizes were huge (Americans take note!) and everything we ordered was well-prepared and tasty. The service also was excellent, and don't worry if you don't speak German, there is an English menu and the staff speak English as well. As a family of four, we found the prices very reasonable. We ordered a meal-sized salad, schnitzel, and a few other dishes. Everyone was a success. The beer selection was excellent as well. This was our favorite restaurant in town. We highly recommend it.An important note: make reservations! This is a small place and quite popular.

After a trip on the Kitzbüheler Horn (beautiful view) booked a table (recommend making a reservation) at this 'institute' with the family. An extensive choice of merely traditional dishes with attention to Bio products. Nice kids menu as well. Huge wine list (really you may need help of the Sommelier) and friendly attentive service, not too formal which was nice. Food was perfect with big portions. You pay a little more probably compared to your local town restaurant but quality is clearly higher so surely not too expensive. Beautiful place as well. Five stars. Staying in Kitzbuhel for a week and have visited the Huberbrau Stuberl 3 times for dinner. We ate indoors as the outside area was full. The food is excellent and better priced than most of the other restaurants in town. My husband really enjoys the beer here! The only reason I have given 4 stars rather than 5 is that the staff arenât overly welcoming. Considering we ate there 3 evenings in a row you would think we would be welcomed back by a smile but thatâs missing. Go for the food - that wonât disappoint.

Visited a few times for drinks during ski holiday, also visited many time in previous years. Always good service and quality. Fantastic location at the top of the mountain with superb views and outdoor seating.

There were 4 of us for a late breakfast when breakfast was finished, the waitress went to find out what we could eat and goulash soup was provided, it was delicious served with lovely fresh âfarm breadâ. I couldnât ski due to an injury so spent a quiet morning in the restaurant drinking coffee until the skiers came back for lunch. The reduced was really busy by then but food was served quickly and efficiently. 3 of us had local sausages and chips, the other s spag Bol. Great place, Iâd love to go again if we have time whilst weâre here!

We stopped off here for an ice cream and a couple of lattes. The waitress was friendly and helpful. We didn't have anything to eat so cannot comment on this. My daughter however, did have an ice cream and later a hot chocolate. We've had ice cream and drinks in various places in the square and this was by far the most reasonably priced. We popped inside to visit the loo and the interior is quite 'Austrian' as you'd expect but did look a little jaded. I would definitely visit again though if I was needing another latte!

Superb restaurant set in a woodland clearing with wonderful views. A real traditional Austrian treat. Excellent English spoken which helped with a mainly German menu. Fantastic food with a great choice of venison - roe deer, red deer and Chamois. Cooked to perfection. They also had one vegetarian dish which I am told was very good. Cannot recommend this place enough. Brilliant apple fritters for pudding. Try it out if in the Sankt Johann area. You will not be disappointed.

We recently stayed at this wonderful Gasthof and from arrival to departure everything was totally outstanding. The room was bright and spacious and impeccably clean, The owners were nothing short of exceptional and welcoming. Being B&B owners ourselves, we look at other businesses with discerning eyes, yet, we could not find one single fault with this establishment. In a single word AUSGEZEICHNETThe breakfasts were plentiful and very sustaining with a large selection to sate any palate. Great coffee. The highlight of our stay were the two dinners we had. The food was remarkable and ohhhhhhhhhh! so very tasty.
