Good service, and i can really recommend the wienerschnitzel. It was like a double portion and tasted fantastic. Also the Gordon bleu was great.

Very good family restaurant. Honest, tasteful food. Typical Tirolean dishes. Dishes are abundant: you won't leave the restaurant hungry! Very friendly service by the owner's wife and daughter. Whenever we stay in the neigbourhood we are pleased to visit this restaurant.

Stayed here on a two-day Fatbiking trip... made very welcome and looked after by the hosts. Good accommodation, warm and a very good nights sleep. Its at the top of sledge road so I guess it gets busy. The team work hard keeping teh snow clear, I guess it would be superb in summer too.

Die Marienbergalm liegt sehr aussichtsreich auf der südlichen Seite vom Marienbergjoch und ist für Wanderer auf verschiedenen Wegen zu erreichen: der schnellste Zustieg (ca. 40min) erfolgt von der Bergstation der Bieberwierer Marienbergbahn. Vom Inntal aus erreicht man die Alm in knapp 2h auf dem Almsteig vom Obsteiger Ortsteil Arzkasten aus (rudimentäre Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit erforderlich, es werden teilweise recht steile Hänge gequert; stellenweise Drahtseilsicherungen). AuÃerdem kann die Alm auf unterschiedlichen Varianten mit dem MTB angesteuert werden. Die groÃe und bequeme Panoramaterrasse bietet einen grandiosen Ausblick auf die umgebenden Felsgipfel der Mieminger Kette sowie bis hinab ins Inntal. Der Empfang und die Betreuung durch das Personal war durchwegs herzlich und zuvorkommend, die Suppe mit selbstgemachtem Kaspressknödel deftig und gut abgeschmeckt. Und obendrauf gabs noch einen Schnaps aufs Haus. Für konditionsstarke Wanderer würde ich die groÃe Runde vom Gasthaus Arzkasten über den Almsteig zur Marienbergalm und von dort über das Hölltörl (optional Aufstieg Höllkopf) und den steilen Abstieg über das Lehnberghaus zurück zum Ausgangspunkt empfehlen (7h, Kondition und gute Trittsicherheit erforderlich; alternativ auch von der Bergstation der Marienbergbahn aus möglich; dann 170Hm zusätzlich).

Weâve been coming to this wonderful region of Tyrol for over 20 years. We always walk the scenic route from Holzleiten to Obsteig and stop off at the Bergland for either food or drinks. This time we sat under a parasol on a hot sunny day and had some beers. We received friendly and attentive service. Weâve eaten in the cosy restaurant on previous occasions enjoying the good regional cuisine such as schnitzel, tafelspitz and spätzle. Weâll definitely be back again.

A worthy goal if you've been walking in the hills nearby or if you've toiled and sweated all the way to the top of the first nine holes of the golf course. It's owned by the Pirktl family of the Hotel Schwarz and it serves great lunches and plenty of cold beers. If you've no cash on you, it's possible to charge the bills to your room in the Hotel way down below by the clubhouse. All-in-all here's a lovely spot with stunning views to the mountains and valleys that abound. Dear Guest, thank you very much for your wonderful feedback. So nice to read your pretty words. Really tasty! We have had 6-courses menu - it wasn´t problem to do speccial vegetarian menu for me. Everythnik was delicious. I love their desserts room. (pancakes, fondue, cheeses). Waiter were very professional. Only one thing... equipment and decoration are for me too schmaltzy (but this is everywhere in Tirol)

We went there 3 days in a row and ate probably most of the menu. Food quality was incredible. All dishes made of local ingredients, and all Tyrolean specialties including their knodels, graukase and others (sorry forgot those names). Restaurand is placed in coutryside, but you have to got through the forest. It's location is idyllic. I will come back for sure. It has two serving rooms but they are not very large, i think it is about 12 tables all together.

Weâve been coming to this beautiful region of the Tyrol for over 20 years and this lovely traditional Austrian gasthof with its wonderful display of flowers is one of our favourite places to eat and drink. We always check into our hotel in Holzleiten and the first thing we do (ruhetag â rest day or day off permitting) is walk the lovely scenic and peaceful route to Auslandhof for late lunch. The ruhetag day(s) are always sign posted well advance so as to avoid disappointment. This time we sat outside in the lovely sunshine looking out at the amazing views. We had two Austrian beers and ordered bratwurst, sauerkraut, mustard, grated horseradish and bread. A perfect combination. The food is always delicious and the service is friendly and professional. We love this place and canât wait to come back here again. Highly recommend it.Dear Roy and Jeannette,thank you very much for your great review! We are happy the lamb Bratwurst from our own farm tasted well and you could enjoy the panoramic scenery from our terrace. In a recent stay in Ehrwald we were recommended this restaurant for dinner. It was a fine evening so we were able to sit outside. The service was excellent as was the fare. In short a memorable experience and we can only but endorse the recommendation.
