Reviews on Central European food in Seefeld in Tirol, Austrian Alps, Austria. In wintertime, lovely Seefeld in Tirol channels the fairytale magic of a Christmas village. Located on a plateau amid mountains and valleys, it’s an ideal place for snow sports, particularly cross-country skiing. In fact, several Olympic and World Championship competitions have been held here. Off-season, the crisp mountain air and epic views make for excellent alpine hiking. When you’re ready for refreshment, you can’t go wrong with schnitzel and a local beer at one of the area’s charming restaurants.

Called in here one afternoon for some Apple strudel and a hot chocolate. We sat outside on the terrace as it was surprisingly warn in the sunshine and were treated to some stunning views of the village and surrounding mountains. Hot chocolate and strudel were delicious but not cheap, coming to just over â¬8. Staff were very friendly and spoke pretty good English too.

Right in the centre of the pedestrianised Dorfplatz, overlooking the Christmas market, the Seyrling family welcome you to the recently refurbished Gasthof Tiroler Weinstube.Beautifully renovated apartments offer a choice of modern accommodation for all needs. Having the use of a great kitchen a great bathroom and a great balcony was especially useful and the luxury of the infa red cabin to warm up those aching muscles after skiing was an extra bonus. We enjoyed eating in the restaurant in the evenings. The menu was good, plenty of choice as well as the usuals you would expect to see. The meals were well presented and delicious. Special dietary needs were also taken into consideration. We were a party of six for 5 days over the Christmas period, then just the two of us for the New Year. It really was a magical holiday and we would all like to thank Michael, Leni, Maria and Lucas for making us feel so welcome and wish them well.We very much hope to be able to visit again in the future.Family Birtles.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Larchenhof, and this restaurant was on the property walking distance up the hill... Its like dining in a rustic Austrian farmhouse with delicious food, and a warm atmosphere.. The staff are attentive and gracious.. The pork schnitzel, and the young venison were so good and satisfying.. Mouth watering... Paired with a glass of Austrian red wine, and you will be insured of a cozy dining experience

New Grill & Steakhouse Restaurant, with fresh homemade beer - directly in the center of the pedestrian zone of Seefeld (in basement of Hotel Klosterbräu & SPA). Lunch and dinner will be served from 12:00 to 10:00 PM, Opening hours daily from 12:00 - 11:00
Gave this place a great review last time we came and to be honest it's difficult to fault the food but going out for dinner is more than simply eating. It's about the welcome the experience the service the atmosphere and to be honest all of these were lacking. We arrived at 8pm ordered by 8.10pm and had our meal delivered to us less than 5 minutes later - weird! Service was very brusque and it felt more like school dinners than a restaurant. However the ribs pork and beef were lovely and the only comment was they could have been hotter. Having eaten by 8.45pm it then took nearly 30 minutes to get the bill which seemed ironic given the initial speed of service. Disappointing experience and wouldn't rush back again.

At Nannis they had an interesting mix of dishes and lots of ice-cream on their menu. We had four different dishes that came surprisingly quick. Both the food and the price value were good. The restaurant is in a rather informal setting and the premises aren't very attractive so we didn't spend long hours there.

We visited whilst on a whistlestop trip to this magical, winter wonderland. Kracherlemoos sits off the main road and looked so Christmassy and festive as we trudged through a covering of fresh, crisp and glistening snow towards the front door. Warm and cosy indoors, our welcome was warm and the service attentive and helpful. The menu is short and traditional - with typical combinations, not necessarily to our taste, but what we chose was well executed. We had an excellent local Riesling reserve which stole the show.

Perched on the snow laden mountain side this inn was a welcome sight to behold especially after several kilometres of skiing. Charming friendly Bavarian atmosphere with ummpah music to boot! Lederhosen and Bavarian food and drink options. A popular lunch stop so make sure you get there early. There are large tables which it is no problem sharing. The perfect lunch spot. We went back on a Monday at 1130 but it was not open so really sad

We are closed for Holiday from November 3rd to December 5th. There are three areas in our restaurant. The interior of the restaurant, the winter garden and the terrace. For an aperitif before dinner or a digestif after our bar is the perfect place for it.
Very good place for lunch if you are in a hotel on half board. Good interesting menu, but you can also choose something small. Great serviceThank you very much, hope to see you soon for lunch.

Arrive in style with a horse carriage. About 30-45 min. away (by hourse) from downtown Seefeld this place is a hidden gem. Traditional Tyrolean food very well interpreted- even at their last day before going into spring break (end of winter season). We will definitely come back during summer. Congratulations.
