At 2000m, we encountered this small oasis of tranquility between cows and in just the perfect setting. We decided to have our diner here, it was almost 18:00h and holidays anyway. We experienced incredibly friendly and personal service, a totally amazing view on the mountains on a sunny terrace, children minding their own business at the playground, authentic food of good quality and at reasonable prices, this had to be heaven. When I wandered through the interior it even got better: fantastic furniture, old photographs, old wood that was used to renew the whole building and just the coziest lighting. In winter, I'm sure many will forget to return to their ski's! We certainly did forget for just a moment that we still had a +1h walk ahead of us back to our appartment. When we had a our fine diner (typical Austrian things like cheese Spätzle and Jausenteller with all kinds of home made stuff), they offered us a Schnaps from the house which is always appreciated very much. We stayed until 19:30 and the waitresses were going home as well. When they saw that we were starting our 1,5 hour descent to Sölden, they offered us their back seat and provided us a quite welcome short cut. So much hospitality... THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

After a short journey up from the main street by funicular your ears pick up on the thumping music emitting from Philipp Bar. Once inside (or outside on the terrace) service was prompt and, when ordering certain shots, very theatrical !!!The only downside, when youâre no longer accustomed to it, was the excessive cigarette smoke.

At wine & dine you can experience ultimate culinary pleasure à la carte in the stylish yet cosy traditional parlour atmosphere. The menu includes duo of Sölden lamb and hearty dishes from the charcoal grill such as fillet of beef with herb butter or rib-e
The best raclette place Iâve ever been !! Big , rich portions. Great tapas and starter menu. Our raclette set was made of: melting raclette, salad, young potatoes, bread and grilled vegetables. Fantastic wine menu. And the service - absolutely professional and nice. Extremely kind Slovakian waitress! I highly recommend this restaurant Dear Maddpariss, thank you very much for your review. We are very pleased that you had a great time at our restaurant and will forward your compliments to our team.Thank you for your recommendation!Best regardsFamily Grüner

Stayed here late in the ski season as a last minute ski holiday. Breakfast was buffet style with a wide range of choices (loved the fresh orange juice squeezer- nice touch) bedrooms are large with a balcony. Good selection of international tv channels. Skiing to the hotel wa not possible but the reception drove us to the lift station and collected us everyday as the ski bus had also stopped.Ski locker and boot warmers clean and roomy. Good ski shop and rental place in the celler

This is my default place for lunches during skiing in Solden. The place is in a way perfect - spacious, super well organised and well priced. The choice of dishes is excellent - both warm and cold, salads, sweets, drinks etc. It will be busy around lunch time but you will find a place after maybe a few minutes search or wait.

The speciality is bbq chicken which a few had and thought was fab. I had Wiener schnitzel (is that how you spell it??) which was really good as they are often dry/burnt. Service was really quick and friendly - a worthy stop up the mountains for lunch...

Typische Restaurant für Ãsterreich, reichhaltige Karte, Wild, etc. grosses Weinkarte, preislich durchaus interessant, geschmacklich enttâuschend.
After our long hike, we had definitely worked up an appetite! And we stumbled across this place - it is right at the bottom of some of the runs and trails. The restaurant is huge and we were some of the only people there (not too much snow is Sölden yet!). Food came quickly and it was delicious! Tried the schnitzel, cordon bleu, and the lumberjack steak and we were all so excited about how yummy it was! It is a lot of food!! We did get an appetizer as well - the pan fried cheese and it was good but it was still a little cold on the inside. Overall, place was great and service was great too!!

Staggering building and had a seat by the window in the upstairs lounge. Views were stunning in and out of cloud. Two coffees and cakes and a Hugo came to â¬32.50Liked the look of the tapas menu that others were having which was â¬54. Didnât do the Spectre experience for which they wanted â¬22ph.

Welcome at Gampe Thaya. Indulge, enjoy, switch off. This is the motto when you visit us at Gampe Thaya in Sölden. Daily fresh we prepare regional dishes with products from our local farmers and from our own farm. Our cows also like to stay at Gampe Thaya
If only we had eaten lunch here - it all looked fantastic. Sadly we had already eaten and were only stopping for an afternoon coffee break . . . . but got to see what the late diners were enjoying. The building is fantastic and the views stunning - well worth stopping there. Dear Bob,thanks for your feedback. Great to hear, that you stopped for a coffee break and that you enjoyed our restaurant. Hopefully we can welcome you once again at Gampe Thaya, then for lunch or dinner :)All the best and see you on 2.000 mbest regardsFam. Prantl
