Had a great afternoon here after visiting the Hallein Salt Mine. We all tried every beer on the menu (except the alcohol free and low alcohol options). When we were leaving the waitress gave us all a complementary schnapps, and had one herself too. She then produced a bottle of beer that wasn't on the menu and gave us all one to take away with us. Great service! A very jolly occasion!

We found this restaurant by chance and it was one of the best meals we had during our week-long stay in the Salzburg Area. What drew us in was the full parking lot. We figured that either the food was really good or the prices reasonable. We hoped for the first and discovered both.My Wife had Duck from the daily menu and I had the Bullenburger from the regular menu. It is so unusual to find a burger on a German menu that I had to try it. Both of us were quite pleased with the preparation, taste and price. What more can you expect from a Gasthaus?Service and beverages were good.

20 min it takes to drive from Salzburg city to Gasthof Langwies in Hallein, a high class Restaurant in a nice country side hotel. The food is excellent, the service also at a high level, but still you will find a very personal service for every single guest. We were sitting in the bar area in the afternoon and had a nice bottle of white wine while getting a little hungy. Gasthof Langwies offers a nice afternoon menu with warm and cold dishes with a good variety. When ever I am in this area again I will come back for a meal to this place.

It is a down to earth restaurant with a very good standard. Itâs a uncomplicated very friendly restaurant and it is always of a very good level / quality of normal Austrian style food. The servicing is very friendly. We go there often and it never has been disappointing. Itâs a recommendation also for familyâs with kids of all ages. Sometimes it can be busy there as it is very popular under the locals too.

My husband and I were visiting friends in Hallein from Australia when we found ourselves with an evening free for dinner. So happy we did- Hassl Restaurant is an absolute gem! Modern fit-out with clean lines and great lighting. Menu is in German, but the waitress was happy to explain the dishes in English. My husband is vegetarian, but we both had 3 courses of local, seasonal fare that were out of this world. Fantastic modern interpretation of classic flavors. After a few weeks of rather serious and bland Austrian pub food, it was so refreshing to find a restaurant with balance. Five Stars!

Passed by for a late lunch. There had been a big festival the night before and staff was a bit slow but they excused for that. Food ok, pizza a bit too much cheese on it. Restaurant itself in avery old house look cool. Would give them a secon chance.

We had a great meal at Bierheuriger and the atmosphere was very comfortable and fun. They have other choices than just authenic Austrian food and for a great price. Our waitress, Eva, was very friendly and nice. One of the better restaurants that we tried during our stay.

After years of a culinary journey through the desert with unfriendly service and disgusting food it looks like that this place found the right person to run it. My family has been going there for ages so i was excited to try this new place under new leadership and i have to say i was more than satisfied. The selection of cold meat salads is impressive, one better then the other one, we tried and loved them all. The same for the other food from the buffet like pork-belly or meatballs, everything is delicious. The new owner has also butchery where the food is prepared during the day for his new Heurigen. The quality of the meat is top. Due to the fact that the new owner is also a wine-expert the wine-list is really something special , delicious Austrian wines from unknown small vineyards, amazing quality for really good value for your money, you can try everything by glass what we did extensively, price-range between 3.2 and 4.2 Euro and no headache the next day!Absolute great place to go, cant wait to go back, specially at summertime wiuththis amazing garden outside.
