We stopped in for lunch and had the lunch special - traditional dumplings served with a green salad. Service was quick and the beer selection was more than adequate. We ate inside because the weather was a bit nippy. There were brave souls at the outdoor tables but inside is very cozy on a chilly day. We liked it enough to consider it for dinner one evening while we are in Zell am See.

As usual Trip advisor did the trick. This place was highly recommend and indeed this place was amazing. Everything we had was great, fresh ingredients, fantastic presentation and most importantly, amazing taste. Indeed highly recommend if you are around that beautiful area and you are not, then it is worth the special drive.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxed late lunch here after walking in the Seidlwinkeltal. I had delicious Kaspressknoedel, which come in soup in a small enamel pot and are served with a side salad. My partber tried the smoked trout, which was also very good. We also had to try their beer, which they brew themselves. Full marks on that as well. Unfortunately, we were too stuffed to try any of the desserts or yummy looking ice creams. We hope to be back in Rauris next year, and this restaurant will definitely see us again a couple of times.

We have spent a nice evening at Steinerwirt. You can either sit inside or if it is warm enough outside at the beautiful terrace under the trees. We had some Austrian dishes such as - Flädlesuppe- Kasnocken- Beef TartareAll of it very yummieh!The service was friendly and fast.Dear svk1201,thank you for your visit at our restaurant and the nice review. We are really happy that you enjoyed the typical Austrian kitchen at our restaurant.

This place is unpretencious, and welcoming, the staff are very friendly, and the food is home made. Decour is lots of warm wood and charming, there is an atmosphere like a softly bubbling brook, very pleasant, menu choice varies, food is good, but the wines are questionable, Hope this has been of some help for you...

We arrived close to 10 pm and I was almost sure the kitchen will be closed. Luckily we got served with a classic, good schnitzel, so we were saved from starving after a full day's drive. The food is not exquisite, but is tasty and fresh and very typical Austrian.

The Dorfkrug Restaurant is housed in a charming Austrian house a few minutes walk from the centre of Kaprun. The popularity of the restaurant sees tourists and locals flock to dinner here every evening. The comfortable and traditional interior is stylish and welcoming to tourists and locals. Reservations are a must to avoid disappointment. The menu is well priced and offers the best in Austrian cuisine with a wide range of meat and fish dishes to satisfy all tastes. Portions are generous and delicious with a good wine list and table service provided by an enthusiastic team of young waiters and the lovely Tine, who was particularly friendly and whose good English was a big help in this most Austrian resort. Two sittings at 6pm and 8pm for dinner enables the Dorfkrug team to deliver great service at this popular dining spot. We'll be back ! Hello Mr./s. OK the food is good, the staff are fun and they do their best get you in and fed. So whatâs wrong with it?Call me petty but it felt a bit fast foody. We went twice but thatâs because the children liked it, which might illustrate what I mean. I wouldnât say do go but it wouldnât be first choice.

Very disappointing meal. We were hungry leaving restaurant due to stingy amounts of food. â¬130 for a meal for 2 children & 1 adult, for 3 mains, water & 2 glasses of wine. I ordered steak. Got 3 mouthfuls. Rest was bone and gristle. Pepper sauce and chips/potatoes cost extra. Chips (really crisps) were burnt and greasy. Had to send back. In place got soggy over done potato. Surprised at ratings it gets. Also at prices. Wonât be returning!!

We were at the restaurant for the dinner. Lamb was quite average, but the veal was awful. The interior was very general. It is very ordinary restaurant and nothing special. Definitely not the best in Kaprun
