We discovered Taj Mahal in Salzburg, Austria a few hours after arriving in town. Couldn't get into the restaurant on our first night in town, but made a reservation for the following night. Had the best Lentil Soup (Dal) we've ever encountered. This was folowed by excellent lamb and chicken dishes and wrapped up with an excellent rice pudding for dessert. Restaurant is largely family run - father, son and daughter. Very knowledgeable, friendly and competent staff. We were so impressed we booked another dinner for our last night in Salzburg - it was a repeat of competence on all levels.

I have a carbonara that night, they was good, maybe is winter, and i having hot food, the beer here is good, price is good , i stay next door cuban villa but no discount, haha

Easy bus ride from the Centre of Salzburg to the Everest Restaurant. Made very welcome on arrival. The Nepali mo-mo and a cobra beer to start were fantastic! We then had a lamb dish, a chicken dish, sag and raita. Huge portions! Ate far too much, but it was delicious. Will definitely visit again.
