Very clean restaurant! They also have enough employees working to take your order very quickly. Very friendly employees and fast service. Son had Bacon Cheeseburger Combo, wife had Chick Strips Basket and I had Mushroom Swiss Burger with fried mushrooms. Mushroom Swiss Burger could stand more cheese and mushrooms on it for me, but all the food was very good and hot. Love their fried mushrooms!

I have lived in the area almost 20 years and I am not sure how long this place has been around here. I took my son recently and there is a nice atmosphere near something like a family. The people are nice and it seems to be a local favorite. The food was okay and the service average.

Sugar Shanes has amazing management, chefs and wait staff. My personal food favorite is the Red Salad which consists of perfectly blended barbecue fried chicken strips, avocado, greens, onions, and olives. Second favs are chicken fried chicken and fish dishes. We take our grandchildren here and they love the burgers. Check out their home breaded onion ring tower. Sugar Shanes is a delightful experience. Hope you visit them soon.

Typical truck-stop fast food experience at this Hardee's at the Towanda Service Center on the Kansas Turnpike. The taste of the food is good Hardee's burgers with fresh and large pieces of lettuce, onion and tomato. Service varies from day to day - sometimes very friendly, sometimes not so much. The dining room is not spotlessly clean. We usually arrive mid-afternoon and can find a fairly clean table. Your order is brought to the table if you are dining at the travel center. The dining room is shared by both the Hardee's and a Duncan Donuts. The chocolate malts are freshly made by hand so they take a few minutes to make, but they are a little on the over-priced side for the size. Be sure to emphasize "malt" or you get a milk shake and tell them to leave off the whipped cream because it doesn't add anything to the malt. .

I love this place! We have eaten here for years! The same family has owned it even when it was across the street before moving to its current location. I love the steak and chicken faquitas . There salsa is good and each person gets their own bowl ,which is great for picky teens! Their Moca Jete (probably not spelled correctly )is excellent and my husband' s choice. Our son always gets the pork Monterrey . When we have guests in from out of town we always take them there.

What's for lunch? When you are traveling in western Kansas, take some time to eat at this hole in the wall restaurant in Augusta...right on HWY 54, easy to miss but DON'T! Delicious rib ends, brisket, nice sides, and the friendliest staff. They serve other foods besides BBQ if you have folks who don't want BBQ. (???) We were concerned no one was there, but soon realized that locals call ahead and pick up..there was a steady stream in and out the entire time we were there. They also have some interesting sports memorabilia.

A great little locally owned drive in with great hamburgers, shakes, and malts.

The food was very good, but the service was lousy and the appearance of their waiters was very sloppy, making you wonder what the kitchen looked like too. used to love eating here, but probably won't go back.

This Casey's store is located on a small lot, so the traffic can sometimes get congested. The store is small but has all your normal convenience store items and pizza. I would hope there are some plans by the company to upgrade to a larger store and lot in the future. Each time we have been in this store, it seems like they always have a help wanted sign up on their door. All of the store employees are very friendly, cheerful and helpful, which makes it a pleasure to visit this store.

Called late in Augusta for a snack, because we had already eat mid day. Agreed with the family to call in a subway up the road from our hotel. Called at the establishment and when ordering the food, was told by the senior personel to speak up twice because he could not understand me. Not only was his maner of conversation threatening, but also unpleasant ( he must have had an awfull day before he met us !!!) , the music in the building was also high - too high !!!!!! When on holiday in the US, we sometimes call in subways for a snack " when time is tight", and always have good food and service, but if we ever go back to Augusta - this establishment will always have a wide berth !!!!!!!!!
