We were fabulously looked after by Michaela. Excellent meal including fish tacos, fish and chips and eye filler. Immaculate presentation and very good service. The table was surprised with a celebratory desert to share. A polished touch. Is on the pricey side, especially the beverage list, but for a special occasion, it is worth the bill. Hi Leonb679,Congratulation on your anniversary and thank you for choosing us to celebrate your special day. I am gald to hear your experience at our restaurant was great and thank you for your awesome review. Michaela is a fantastic and really appreciate the shout out to her. Auckland, North Island Food Guide: 9 Pizza food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Manukau
The restaurant is a little hard to find as it's off the street but there's parking available around the restaurant. We were there as part of an organised function so I cant speak for the service, but the food was delicious, especially if you like authentic Fiji Indian dishes packed full of flavour and spice.
Where to eat Bar food in Manukau: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Great Pub Food, rather an extensive menu , covering snacks, lunch and dinner , with daily specials Express Lunches available for $10 covering the basic meal selections and a number of homely meals... lambs Fry and Bacon Be aware large portions , even the childrens meals are huge The meals are certainly not fine dining but nor are the prices or the sizings of the portionsMeals are ordered at the bar and bought out to the tables when cooked , so service is pretty basic Can be rather busy at lunch times especially later part of the week , so at times we have had a little wait on meals Do have promotional nights as well , Roast nights on a THursday night another great value at $11 per person for a plated roast , no selection just the roast of the day , plus a mountain of vegies Wednesday night we tried out the $15 per head Texas night ... steaks ribs etc all only $15 per meal , again huge portions , so be warned Desserts are pretty minimal and cover just the basicsWine and beer prices are typical bar prices , but certainly not at all unrealistic , range is rather limited and is mainly all LIon products Staff all very happy and very acccmodating All in all a good place for a good cheap and cheerful meal for one and all
The food is pretty good. Obviously there are much better Indian restaurants in Auckland. We only went there because it was close to our hotel and the hotel suggested it. The place was pretty dead. We had to call the waiter over several times to get served.
