Lovely atmosphere in both cafe and well-stocked shop. The vegan salads I had were beautiful. Fresh, healthy food can be enjoyed in a lush, green garden with abundant flowers and a running stream...it doesn’t get more relaxing than this. Excellent spot for a break on a road trip or an otherwise busy day. Good parking opportunities as well.
Have heard some great things about this new place so was really looking forward to trying the food. Lovely location and the food smelled great. It was very busy, so they took a while to take our order (fair, when they were so busy) but then the food never came, after over 45 mins we asked and realised that they hadn’t put our order through. I know that happens, but from about 25 mins after ordering we had been catching the waitresses eye, and had seen several wait staff, at different times, pointing at the table and discussing (so we had assumed they were aware of us!). We were sitting right in the middle where all of the staff walked past us. Even if they forgot to put our order through I would have expected someone would have had the initiative to realise we were sat there, foodless and coffeeless for so long. We were in too much of a rush to wait after that so never got the chance to try the food
