Located in the Mitre 10 Mega garden centre the cafe has a relaxed feel and is family friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating. Wide variety of fresh cabinet and menu options. Outstanding coffee, especially love the ice coffee. Have never had a bad experience with the food or coffee here.

The breakfast menu caters to a wide range of tastes. It notes that the cafe, where possible, selects locally grown organic food. The service was friendly and the food well presented and tasty.A cooked breakfast and large coffee came to $23.00

Great coffee BUT the mushrooms were disgusting!!! They came out â swimming in clear juiceâ and had very little if any flavour. Found the staff not exactly â happyâ in there jobs - NOT a good look for this business!!! 1 staff member in particular was dressed â scruffyâ!!! Come on guys, get yourselves sorted - this cafe could be so much better. VERY disappointed!!! Wonât be back!!!

My wife and I dined at Jessicas restaurant this week. Pleasantly surprised at the with the decor, they have done a good job and it has a pleasant feel to it. The waiter who greeted us and showed us to our table was polite, friendly and caring. Water arrived quickly and he told us of the specials.I had calamari for entree and it was superb. The menu caters for all types with a real solid Kiwi approach. Steak, chicken, lamb shank, fish and duck all on the menu.I chose the lamb shank and it came with mash potatoes, peas and gravy. Very nice, I enjoyed it.My wife chose the Duck which was over cooked and the skin not crispy. It came with Kumara rosti which was burnt and dry, could not be eaten she said.So good and bad experiences here. We will go back, it deserves to redeem itself.Hi Trevor, Thanks for your feedback, I have passed it to the chef. Looking forward to see you again.

Stopped in before heading home after disappointing dinner elsewhere. Excellent service, my chocolate mousse cake was beautiful, one couple shared the affagato which was well received, another couple had the cheesecake which went down a treat, only let down was the sundae. Coffees were great. The main meals being sent out made me envious and wishing we had come here for mains.

It was our first time here and we were really impressed. I love that when we booked it asked if we had kids and the age, so when we went to be seated there was a colouring in page and colour pencils already there. The service was very friendly and professional and I couldnât fault any of the staff. I particularly liked overhearing one waitress say to the other that they should both keep an eye on the salad bar and make sure itâs all clean and tidy and presentable (Iâm sure it can get messy with people serving themselves!). It was clean and well-stocked the whole time we were there. Meals came out on time and the steaks were beautiful, also really liked the pieces of fried onion on top. Happy to give 5 stars :-)
