This place exceeded my expectations. I was told about it by friends even though my mother has lived here in the area and never knew about it. I think it’s a secret LOL
The food, the atmosphere- it was just a wonderful place to come and we will return. Don’t miss the Christmas gift shop this time of year. My mother is pretty discriminating and she also gave this A+
We were celebrating her 98th birthday

Great place to take the kids or the adults. There Italian beef sandwiches are the best around it's a good old-fashioned hotdog stand inside a building with the best ice cream in town!

Welcome to Arabellas Ristorante, located in Time Square, the heart of historic downtown Winter Haven. We offer the best Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, created from the freshest ingredients and served in a warm, casually elegant atmosphere.
I really enjoyed the osso bucco. And the vegetables and mashed potatoes that were included all tasted great as well. Sometimes the vegetables are an afterthought – but not here.

This is a quaint little place off the beaten path. My first impression was that it was a charming place that would be great for a leisure afternoon. The wait staff was attentive, pleasant and efficient. The menu sounded interesting. After we ordered some wonderful scones were brought to the table. They were perfect and delicious. There were 5 of us and we ordered various entrees. The cheesy chicken crisp was way too cheesy and the use of potato chips a bit "cheesy". A nice flavored bread crumb topping would have been better. Two people ordered it. One meal was dry and the other ok but nothing to write home about. One ordered the buffalo chicken salad as a wrap and really liked it. Another ordered the cob salad and which had too much lettuce and not enough "cob" althought the watermelon substituted for egg was interesting. I had the Windsor ham and cheese in pastry pinwheels over blackberry sauce. Sounded great but the execution left a lot to be desired. The pastry puff over powered the ham and cheese and the blackberry sauce should have been served over the puffs, not under. They were not wonderful. Sides came with the meals. The corn souffle was waaaay to cheesy. So much so that the corn flavor was missing. The Mediterranean orzo salad was all orzo and very little Mediterranean. Now the worst part. It was too expensive for the fare offered. The majority of meals ran about $12 with drinks extra. This would be in line with other "ladies" oriented places (Lavender and Lace) if the fare was up to par. I felt that each dish could have been upgraded with a little effort. Will not go again. I was the only man there.

We have Pelican's in lots of locations near our home in North Carolina, and our daughter who lives in Florida was a big fan when she'd come to visit. This location is a little over an hour from her home in Florida, so we surprised her by taking her there - and I know we'll be back!
This location has a fun little miniature golf course, but what we particularly liked is the well-shaded area to enjoy your snoball. Several locations we've frequented don't have a place where you can sit in the shade to eat, and let's face it - even in a styrofoam cup, shaved ice melts quickly!
Snoballs are gluten-free, cholesterol-free and fat-free, the syrups don't stain clothes, and the average kiddie-size has only 150 calories. They're also really refreshing without being filling, and with over 100 flavors that you can mix and match and add other things to, the possibilities are endless!

Had lunch at Peebles in October. The BBQ ribs and pulled pork were great. The staff were very friendly, but a bit slow serving people. I would give this place 5 stars based on food quality if it were not for the building being horribly run down with overflowing garbage cans next to our table.

This place made my sons and our anniversary cakes for three years and the prices were never consistent but our cakes and design was the same every year. One year it was 60$ the next year the same cake was 120$ yep doubled for some u known reason. But nothing is debatable about the freshness of the cakes. Decorations are a so so. Nothing that special or over the top.

Shakes, soft-serve ice cream in cups or cones, and basic food like you'd find at a ballpark (burgers, fries, chips) are served here. The place attracts visitors from the park, the nearby tennis courts, and students after school. Prices are low and the staff is friendly.
