Reviewed By Russell BStayed here 3 days 8/23-26/19 Small hotel but parking in front of the hotel was a plus. Many dining options nearby. Decent breakfast. Prepare to climb some stairs unless you get a ground floor room. Beautiful little town.

Best Hotel in town
Reviewed By Lindum20CAfter 30+ years of visiting Aubigny-sur-Nere, we finally visited the Chaumiere as a hotel, not a restaurant. The improvements and expansion over the years by the owners are very impressive. Our room was excellent and so was the breakfast. Pleasantly surprised to see it as busy in October, but a shame we werent' able to have dinner there (restau closed on Sunday evening)

Perfect - shame was just one night
Reviewed By deeh471Chose at random as town had been recommended & needed a stop over on drive from Italy to home. Is a beautiful house, welcoming and light & airy spacious rooms. Breakfast was superb- a large variety of fresh fruit, cheeses, yogurt & home made cakes. Would definitely come back again. Town is very pretty with nice bars, shops & restaurants.

Reviewed By Frances HDon’t hesitate to come and stay here! Best most comfortable bed ever, fantastic breakfast on the terrace wonderful hosts. Several rooms possible, we were given a choice! Lying in a deck chair at midnight watching shooting stars in the cool of the evening was magical.

Simple, mais confortable.
Reviewed By S_PireauxOui, c'est simple, mais au moins, on ne passe pas à côté de la cible. Nous, on voulait le calme pendant les fêtes franco-écossaises d'Aubigny, et on l'a trouvé. Le lit est confortable, la salle de bain est géante et le tout est propre. Peut-être un petit entretien de la clim' qui fait, par moment, un bruit incroyable (j'ai d'ailleurs oublié de le signaler, je le ferai juste après...).
