Freshly renovated, comfort and elegance characterize the BEST WESTERN Hôtel de la Poste. This lovely hotel used to be a coaching inn, its atmosphere is very cozy, modern and comfortable. The new decoration respects this historical legacy, horses and carriages are represented widely on each of our 3 floors to underline this original function. Implanted in the 5 centuries old city center, the BEST WESTERN Hôtel de la Poste is a modern heaven in a place full of History.
Perfectly positioned in the heart of Troyes, with its picturesque medieval old city, offering secure lock-up parking (advisable to reserve) this hotel obviously works hard to ensure its visitors are happy. Charming helpful staff, Rooms modern and spotlessly clean, excellent Nuxe products in bathroom. The breakfast is outstanding with quality products including smoked salmon, cheeses and delicious ham. Highly applauded and recommended!!

we used the Hotel Le Val Moret as a stop over on our way to the south. This hotel is far better than its 3 stars. The Val le Moret serves excellent food and has. really nice gym and swimming pool area. highly recomended

The Mercure Troyes located in the city centre, moments away from the historic part of town, welcomes business travellers and holidaymakers with its 70 non smoking rooms including 3 rooms for guests with limited mobility and 7 family rooms. The design and decor of the hotel have brought the building, a former hosiery workshop, back to life. Conference facilities and underground car park. Close to factory outlets.
We were sort on time and this was an overnight only on the way back to the UK but from our experience we will be using this hotel for a couple of nights next year. Holly on front desk very professional and helpful with pleasant personality. We booked and underground parking space very reasonable at 10 Euros per night, we didn't eat or drink in the hotel but the rooms are spacious and clean and have everything your require including the new Luxe bathroom products to die for.

The Golden Tulip Troyes is located 10 minutes away from the popular factory outlet centre and close to the city centre. This 4 star hotel is an ideal place to stay on a business or a leisure trip to Troyes. The hotel offers 84 airconditioned rooms, a restaurant with a terrace alongside the swimming pool, a bar open until midnight and five meeting rooms for your seminars and training days.
The hotel is apparantly completely renovated on the inside with relatively small but nice rooms and bathroom with seperare toilet next. Showering in the bath is ok ( I am 6 ft 7 ) but difficult toget really wet when you are tall. Rooms have airco. offee and teamaker present as an modern flatscreen tv. As normal in France and Spain : the beds are not soft it not to hard. The outside space with good swimming pool is an oasis also for ( small ) kids with small play area and lots of grass and trees. Dos are allowed. Very friendly staff and Englisch spoken at the reception. The breakfast is OK with scrambles eggs, sausages, bacon, boiled eggs and small crepes apart from the usuall french stuff ( croissants, aguettes etc). Coffe , tea , apple juice and orange use free available all day Nice dinig setup outside and inside. The food is reasonable but a bit pricy for what you get. Would be nice to ( in this day and age) to have vegetables with every main course or be able to choose some. We will certainly be back when we need a stop over for 1-2 days. The airport nextdoor is no problem woth only small planes.

Me and my best Friend spent 2 hours in the Spa. Lovely and relaxing facilities, staff lovely. What let it down is the lack of changing rooms - only 1 cubicle, a little more space would be better! We decided to have some lunch, I didn’t book as was told no need to book when I booked the spa. Got our tables and both ordered a drink and a main course (rib eye steak €20 each). After 50 minutes we asked if our food was coming. Gentleman went off but never came back to let us know what was going on. Another waitress came 10 minutes also realizing we were still waiting for our food. After another 10 minutes we left. Not one apology in the last 20 minutes we just though it was wrong, rude and bad service. So many other tables were served before us despite us being there earlier. Shame, my friend had to drive back home without having some food. Very disappointed.

The Ibis Troyes Centre hotel is located in the city's historic centre, close to the Town Hall, numerous restaurants and a cinema multiplex. 5 km from the airport, the hotel has 77 air-conditioned rooms, including 3 adapted for disabled guests, a bar serving snacks 24/24 and private covered pay parking. For your conferences and seminars, you can book 2 meeting rooms. Wifi wireless Internet access for guests on a business trip.
Very reasonable Ibis with decent sized, clean rooms in good state of repair. Reception staff are remarkably helpful: without asking, they produced a map and showed me where our restaurant booking was when I simply asked for directions. My only reservations: 1) the bathroom towels are so thin that you could easily tear them while drying yourself. This appears to be a groupwide problem. 2) lots of dirty tables in the breakfast area because the lady in charge was too busy sitting down and chatting with her friends rather than helping people. Guests were arriving and had nowhere to sit down because the tables were covered in crumbs with trays still on them. Not acceptable.

Paid for take away breakfast on check In day before 24/04 and paid with a five Euros note.but on collection next morning was told to pay again and when refuse to pay again was treated as a fraud and cheat. Not very pleasant way to continue long journey fro Montpellier to London

Around 40 kilometres from Troyes, this former eighteenth-century water mill, which has been entirely renovated, welcomes you to its authentic and relaxing setting. Use the “Aqualis” space at your leisure and your pace; enjoy the hydro massage bath, the Finnish spruce sauna and the multi-experience shower in order to awaken your senses. The dining room overlooks the river where the water wheel, which still works, is a real attraction. The rooms are all comfortably equipped and have private balconies that open up onto the wooded park of Landion. In winter, gather with your friends or family in the convivial atmosphere around the fireplace in the lounge bar; in summer, the riverside terrace or the garden and its heated swimming-pool provide places to relax in.
We went ont evening in september 2021 after having booked for 4 persons. We were greeted by a young female servant who placed us at a table with only 3 couverts. So far for having booked in advance. We had a glass of champagne as apero (7,7 euro per coupe) and the same lady places our amuse gueule on the table without even a word of explanation. Then came the starter: smoked trout with vegetables. (12,50 euro) Oh dear lord: 4 skinny pieces of smoked fish (could have been salmon?) with dried vegetables. Meanwhile my tableguest had a big fly in his beer . When he asked the waitress for a new beer, she started to dust of the chandeleer above us with a towel! So all of the dust went into our plates. Main course came - no great joy there either. but the waitress totally ignored us and so instead of asking us if it was alright (which it totally wasn't)... after more then 20 minutes being totally left on our own, we asked for the bill. 190 euro for a horrible experience!

We have stayed here as a stopover on our journey to the south for the last few years. Once again, it didn't disappoint. Staff are friendly and pleasant, everything is super clean and the air conditioned rooms were a godsend after a full-on day in the (excellent) theme park in 38° heat. As I paid the bill, I pondered the fact that it is an expensive stopover, however, when broken down it isn't really so bad. We paid about £125 each for a family room, park ticket, evening meal and breakfast. This was for 4 (3 adults, 1 child - note children over 11 constitute adults!) The evening meal was really lovely - fillet steak, magret de canard, beautiful starters and desserts. Wine (rose and red) is on tap and included in the price. When compared to English theme park hotels, I don't think the price is too bad. Our pre/early teens love it here. No doubt we'll be back.

In Champagne, near Troyes and shopping outlets, the Villa Primerose offers accommodation in a particular hotel offering luxury and comfort. Our 5 bedrooms have got 4 keys assigned by the Committee for Tourism in Champagne. Moldings, wainscoting, wood floors, high ceilings and fireplaces are part of the decor of the rooms of this mansion
We stayed recently at this very pleasant and elegant establishment. What a find it was, kindly organised by our wedding host, the owner , Charles, welcomed us warmly from the minute we arrived. The facility oozes French charm , with many features in the hotel being restored or sought to compliment the existing decor. Every room has unique features to admire and each one draws a new story on its history. The bedrooms are all spacious well equipped, including coffee maker etc. The secure car park is on site and the gardens are a nice way to spend a sunny morning enjoying a coffee and aperitif. I would be happy to recommend and stay again at this hotel and enjoy the stories and history recounted by Charles and his hardworking team. ,
