Ingredients of excellent quality. You could really feel it in the taste of the olive oil in the salad, the taste of the olives themselves, in the savoury tomato aroma. The steak was superb, grilled exactly as required (rare - which is something rare to find in Greece) and extremely tasty. The service very amiable and the dessert delicious. I definitely recommend it and for sure, I'll go again!

"Kleftakis" has a good reputation in this area: the food is good, let's say above average and service is smiley and friendly: Thought, they usually bring on the table what is just ready and they do not follow "starters and then main course" rule : As a result one customer can start having his main course at the same time customer on the same table is just having salad waiting for his! Also, not all main courses (meat) are accompanied by french fries which is the case in most greek tavernas.

Choose ur meat/ steak and head inside the cozy restaurant and order their fresh greek salad and their yummy empanadas. The only thing that i would recommend is adding a few selection of Argentinian wine and although clean, a refurbishing of the restrooms is advisable.

Restaurant was recommended to us by Greek locals as âtypically Greek home cookingâ. They have 5 or 6 dishes daily to choose from - We were invited into the kitchen to show us the options, so we could choose. We ate the giant broad bean stew for starters (yummy) followed by shoulder of lamb slow cooked in lemon sauce, a huge portion and really tasty. My wife had Souvlaki with pita, salad and Tzatsiki. Together with bread, water, a half litre of house wine, dessert and Greek coffee, the total bill was just â¬21 !! Unbelievable value and a great chance to sample the local style of home cookingThank you! We would like to see you again!

Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, I have to say it at least thrice!!! We were tired, we were lost, when we spotted that placr. So we entered and a very very sympathetic young man appeared. We asked for the menucard and he just said that basically today is not too much food is available only beef which is made ready above the charcoal. Ok, we said, we had to eat something! But! We received different kind appetizers, zucchini salad with tomato, bruschetta with pesto and roasted pepper, tzatziki, green salad mix, fried potato, local sausage, and so on. Than the beef!!!! Was incredible! The father of the owner made it! It was just perfect, pink in the middle, juicy, tasty, everything! We had local beer and wine, some sweets at the end!!! Most of vegetables were served from the garden!!!! But finally, Iâve got to state, this was my best culinary experience in this Greek trip!!!! Again: if you are around, donât miss the opportunity to stop here!!!!

When we are in Athens and the temperature is high, we prefer to go north to find a fresh oasis to eat good meat.We recently tried this grill restaurant in Rodopoli and it was a surprise:Picana, rib eye and flap steak are perfect and we asked them "rare". We were very pleased that they were are able to serve a "real rare meat", I mean quite raw as we eat it in Italy. Our Greek friends ate it medium rare or well done and they said it was exacly how they wanted it.The only bad think is their house wine and the price of the bottled wines they have is 6 times the price of the drugstore so we refused to choose them and we preferred to order beer or ouzo.The tables under the pine trees are a real treat instead of sweating in a restaurant in Kolonaki or at the seaside!

I am very passionate about meat and this lovely place has so far best pork souvlaki (but consider it like steakâs pieces rather then small traditional ones) I ever ate: juicy, fresh, gentle and very tasty. We took 1 portion for three people and it was just fine. Very nice white home wine and free desert in the end.
